The e edition of the paper from the web is the best way for me to read today's content (only) on my tablet.

Zoë Lkjsdhf

Have to pay to read articles? Have to pay to read more then a few articles, no way!

Marcus Fugett

Halfway there The app itself is good, the layout is clean and it operates super smooth. The picture zooming with captions is wonderful. However there are a few sticking points. Videos do not play, either bundle some implementation of flash or use another web codec. Also, there is no access to comments made on articles. Seems like too many news apps do this, and this is another one. Other than those 2 pain points, it is pretty surprising how well do e it is. Now please, finish the job!

No video Cannot display video from Sun articles because Sun app uses old fashioned Flash. Should be upgraded to HTML5.

Peter Fitzgerald

Great update This one has come long, long way. The new interface looks great.

Yehuda Dax

User friendly but uninformative

CHRISTINE Frisch

Love It.... The app is awesome.

Steve Frew

Great for Orioles Fans! Living outside of Baltimore Sun delivery area makes this an awesome app for Me!! Go Orioles!! Playoff Bound!

Worthless Just read the stories from the Sun website, don't waste the download on this app. The look of the app is awful, and you can't get anything more than headlines without paying.

_______ ______

Pay app? Will not pay for news I can get elsewhere for free.

U people l

Galaxy tab 2 10.1 They can keep this junk i'm not paying for this bull

Baltimore Sun Good enough

Matthew Frieswyk

Used to provide limited free content Now a press + subscription is required to view anything. Greedy. Just plain greedy.

Tony Moore

Poorly designed and a pay service. Why get this when you can get AP mobile and add Baltimore as your local city?

A Google User

Sun rip off. Totally useless unless willing to immedialy give credit card info and pay monthly.

Kevin Evans

Greedy! Got to pay for everything! You would have to be a fool!

A Google User

Paid for this app and now it disappeared I paid for this app then it disappeared from my phone. Emails to the baltimore sun have not been answered.

A Google User

Where is this app? There's an update but Market says "this item is unavailable."

Gr8 App! My Old Stand By

A Google User

Are you kidding! Thank you Baltimore Sun, thanks for taking my money then retire the app. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP, it no longer works.

A Google User

Absolutely ridiculous I paid for this app when it came out. Now you want to charge me again to have a paid digital account? That is ludicrous.

A Google User

Needs work, especially for a paid app. Force closes often, and can't see blog comments--like missing half the conversation.

A Google User

Good, but Facebook sharing is broken on the comet. It won't let you authorize.

A Google User

This downloaded to my mytouch slidebut did not install

A Google User

Good app could use a few improvements

A Google User

Constantly forced closing on every use.

A Google User

This is a terrific app. Very easy to use and we'll designed.

A Google User

Love the app! Very easy to use.

Justin Wingate

Very poor business practices. Do NOT start a business transaction with the Baltimore Scum. They charged many of us for their app almost 2 years ago. Well after I got a new phone, I didn't see it anymore so I figured they gave up on Android. I should have known this is what you Scum had planned. You want to prove gouge me for a product I already paid for. I will be filing a complaint with the Google Play Store and if it gets far enough, discuss a class action because I'm sure there are thousands just like me. Baltimore SCUM!

Tiffany Michaloski

Disappointed I was very disappointed to find you have to create an account on their site before you can view articles. Poor planning! I can understand creating an account but make it easier so you can do it on the app. I uninstalled!

Stuart Patterson

im not paying Why pay when I can view for free on your website. I feel dis-heartened

A Google User

Better More reliable with recent update. Want to see blog section and enable comments.

Philip Goldsmith

A free app that requires an online subscription is a waste!

Michael Harper

they want subscription for paper that seldom gets facts correct

Tony O

Can't log in even though I have an account

bill hamilton

Baltimore Sun Worthless. I have a press+ account, and each time I attempt to access content, the app requires me to log in (i.e., I never get past the login screen). Settings window tells me I'll already logged in.

darlene worthington

It is not free!! The app is free to download but then you have to pay to read any articles!! So stupid!!

Brenda Baskin

Always entertaining and focused.

Jim Wiedman

Subscription Quirks Good newspaper, but my subscription access via Google onky worked on my phone occasionally. I could never tell if I was going to be able to read an article until I clicked on it.

A Brinton Cooper III

Much improved App is quite improved. The ability to turn captions on and off is quite convenient. Video displays nicely. Articles transition smoothly. However, the latest articles are frequently repeated in "Top Stories," "Latest News," and "Maryland," so that I have to scroll through previously read articles too frequently. App still crashes on occasion.

Nicholas Morosoff

Horrible app. I have had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times. They have not figured out how to track my subscription.

James Jones

Not coherent It does not compare favourably with the WashPost site which I find easy to read and well organized.

Bob Martin

Great idea But needs improvement. Articles slow to load. Lots of spinning arrows. Also, I accidentally touched offline reading. Can't stop it once it begins. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. I'm sure it's hogging space.

Warrick St Jean

Great content, great value, buggy app I was so impressed with the convenience and value of the app, that I subscribed. Since then I have continued to enjoy the excellent articles when I'm not dealing with a subscription bug which seems to forget that I am allowed unlimited access from time to time. Hopefully others will be as patient and persistent because of the strong writing

SUN Awesome app. Up to date news in Baltimore. No problems.

James Hall

Buggy app The articles often hang such that all you can see is part of a big letter while the advertisement is unsuccessfully trying to load. The e edition of the paper from the web is the best way for me to read today's content. Love the paper, not a huge fan of the app

Walter Ambrose

Sun Site operates poorly, freezes, won't open. Poor layout. Unfortunately if you want local news your stuck with this trash.

Eric ApplianceGuy

Meh at best Very annoying as it pushes notifications all the time. Easier to read and much cleaner than the paper version.

Michael Harber

Great layout The ad-free layout is nice. Nothing but the essential text and article related pictures. The app scrolls smoothly and effortlessly. No lag! The tabs are well designed for instant access to the content. Great overall GUI...A+ ?

kevin miskelly

Sun app Slow. The Sunpaper is a ghost of what it used to be.

Jenn T

10 articles only Really? I only get 10 articles on an ad supported app. Ridiculous. Back to chrome incognito mode for then.

James Hall

Buggy app The articles often hang such that all you can see is part of a big letter while the advertisement is unsuccessfully trying to load. The e edition of the paper from the web is the best way for me to read today's content. Love the paper, not a huge fan of the app

Bob Martin

Great idea But needs improvement. Articles STILL slow to load. Lots of spinning arrows.

A Brinton Cooper III

Little improvement So version 3.9.1 seems to switch pages a little more smoothly, but if it is used long enough, e.g. after reading 3 or 4 "sections," it may crash without warning. Previous upgrade, May 2016, left the app buggy. Articles are slow to start. Moving between sections causes delay and spinning wheels. After about 6 articles, app frequently hangs and must be restarted. Also, most new articles appear in 3 or 4 sections, repeatedly showing up after I've read them.

Vincent Stewart

Bias reporting Marylanders thinks polls should be dropped

A Brinton Cooper III

Stable but still slow loading The latest version has been stable since installation. Former crashes and freezes are gone; articles scroll smoothly. Compared with other news apps, however, Sun articles load very slowly. This gets worse as one moves from the current news menus to the Obituaries and Harford news to the right. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds after being selected for a piece to appear. I wonder if they're using an old, pokey server?

wayne dorsey

Fast, up to the minute reporting and articles. Informative and multiple perspectives. I have no trouble with the app.

Bob Martin

Great idea Can you please have the articles load at least as fast as the ads?

Gary Raffel

Poor execution Slow, awkward to use

rob b

Very easy to use. Awesome and well written news.

Michael Harber

Great layout The ad-free layout is nice. Nothing but the essential text and article related pictures. The app scrolls smoothly and effortlessly. No lag! The tabs are well designed for instant access to the content. Great overall GUI...A+ ?
