Although not the sort of app you'll need very often, aSpotCat is perfect at what it does. The developer has been with the Android community for many years and continues to update this app.

Gregory Opera

Powerful, easy-to-use application. Whether you're concerned about security or just plain curious, aSpotCat is a powerful application that not only shows what permissions all of your applications and games are using, but also explains in a logical manner what those permissions do... Highly recommended!

David Godfrey

Fabulous I love being able to easily see which programs have which permissions and my daughter just loves looking at the cat.

Eric Reis

Nice app Lite and informative.

Daniel Bitter

Exactly what I needed Does a great job of categorizing things. Short of manually auditing all my apps and comparing them/their req'd permissions to the results of aSpotCat, I don't know how to tell how accurate it is, but I think we can assume it's accurate. Also, 5-star review #666! :D

Steven Go

Awesome app Wanted to list apps with WakeLocks permission. Gets the job done! Thanks dev!

Pete Shelby

aSot Cat: Installed on Google Nexus 7. Haven't given a full test drive yet but, I'm sure it'll run as well as all of the other apps by Sam Lu. He makes great programs and I've never had a problem with any of his work. I'll update after I run this.

Derek P

Limited There were permissions, such as startup, that I specifically was looking for that this app doesn't show but others do. It's not horrible but there are better ones out there

Alex Rock

Works perfect Does exactly what I wanted, shows apps grouped by permission, and you can go in and see the fine gained permissions. Has explanations as well.

Chris Shepherd

Galaxy s 4 Works great for me no problems give it a try

an van put

Cool super Try it! its great!

Joe G

Requires too many permissions... ...for a permissions monitoring app

Gretchen Haigwood

I hope this work I hope this work i had try a lot of sd naw of them didn't work .

Richard Basham

Nothing like this app, Great app. that is well done as for development.

Carsten Winkel

Absolutly Great!!!

James Hatton

Does exactly as you'd expect Would be awesome to programmatically restrict some applications but I'd say that would require root access to work and not be free? This good as it is tho, keep up the good work.

Tim Hutt

Reports all your installed apps to authors. A privacy focused app that violates your privacy? Great!

Adhityan varma

great i love the ui

A Google User

Good (but ugly) UI Helpful organization. Easy to figure put what permissions mean. I wish it didn't customize the UI so much (it's ugly and unprofessional looking).

A Google User

Useful app Does what it says and works nicely. Great app!

Brittany Vaughn

Very useful Helps you avoid malicious permissions hidden in updates. Great app.

A Google User

Greay dev response to questions Does what it says it will. I had to remove as avast basically does same thing, but good app!

Richard Holmes

Ok But needs optional things other than listing only

Chaz Kelley

Greatest This man's apps are fantastic. Even if you have to spend $3. I did. Thanks Sam

ben dinnar

Good It amazing!

A Google User

Excellent Excellent diagnostic tool.

A Google User

way too much traffic used it a couple times, already over 2mb traffic? otherwise does the job, but i dont remember viewing video adds.

A Google User

Superb If you care about privacy this app is great. But, 'RL Permissions' is a better app (because that requires no permissions itself!).

A Google User

Good, could be better... I like this UI better than "RL Permissions" but this app requires permissions. How ironic.

A Google User

horrid caused my phone to go completely belly up. most apps either gone or corrupted. i have to re-install and re-install 2-3 times to get the app to work again. now in frequent FC on most apps even after getting them to work for a while. phone crashes all the time now. don't get this piece of junk

A Google User

Back to its old self With the invasive permission removed, it is once again safe to update the app. My thanks to the devs.

A Google User

Trust (and rating) restored.

A Google User

Okay but... Permission monitor (Vincent De smet) notifies on install, just in case you glossed over the permission screen.

Super! I have installed this app and realized that flashlight app have rights to make calls! Have you imagine that? I recommend aSpotCat to clear up your phone. It's awesome app!

James Thomas

Thanks. The Play Store is a minefield; it's a real shame we can't deny permissions without rooting. This app helps a little.

Cne. R.

Would save me a lot of time if find it years ago. Silly fellows rated it lower than 4 stars.

Chris Lechat

Trust Noone. A great way to check for shady apps on your devices!

A Google User

Must have Very useful app

Brook Elliot

Thanks, useful Great app. Thank you for making this. I have just one request. Could you make a category that shows a list of apps that are capable of causing wakelocks?

paula gunn

Paula Just got it sound good

Von Doom

JUNK Don't download ad scam JUNK Every app on the phone is listed as dangerous. No explanation of how to use this app properly. This app is considered dangerous. I noticed it is a data miner. Just another app to give you advertisements, that you never wanted or asked for...REPLY: your product is junk. Not worth the time or effort of an E-mail!!!

Aleo Veuliah

Works well. Good to have.

Harry Whitecross

Aspotcat? Totally useless. Doesn't control anything, just a waste of time.
