App Ripper

Posted by Alboi GbR in Tools | Aug. 5, 2014 | 1 Comments

Apk file size: 1.2 MB

App Ripper is a small application that allows you to extract resources from the apps you have installed on your device, preview them and store them on your pc, for instance.
Resources include videos, images, fonts and music of your favorite games, spritesheets, opengl es 2.0 shaders, zip files with more cool resources and other fancy stuff. Have fun exploring the app resources of all the great games you love. Now is the time you can use background music, icons and sound effects such as laughing piggies from angry birds for other purposes. A must have!

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO REUSE THE EXTRACTED RESOURCES IN ANY WAY NOT PERMITTED BY THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS. THIS USUALLY MEANS, FOR PRIVATE USE ONLY.

INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions are only used to display a tiny adview on the bottom of the pages.

Depending on the game, extracting the resources might take a while, so don't panic if you face a black screen for some seconds when clicking on an app.

Please write me an email if you have any suggestions or need some additional features in the app.

Whats new

    - app list is now sorted alphabetically
    - improved clarity in the app overview with fixed icon sizes
    - added ripping of raw resources (dark background in extracted resources list)
    - more features coming soon

This app is a MUST HAVE for those who truly loved the apps &/or games in their phones, but KNOW NOT THE WAY TO OBTAIN THEM CONVENTIONALLY. For LOVE, some would go to all lengths. That includes downloading & using an app like this. Supposedly it allows you to get access to any apps'/games' resources files, and copy them to ur phone for later (PERSONAL/PRIVATE) use. The result may come out strange, but that's quite normal. Sometimes they're not clickable though.
