App Manager is a light-weight tool designed to simply help the user to batch uninstall and backup applications with the least amount of permissions as possible. The application quickly lists all the installed applications on the user's device, displaying information about each application allowing the users to choose whether to un-install, backup or read detailed information about each application.
- Backup APKs to SDCard
- Install APKs from SDCard
- Un-install applications

Where are my Apps being backed up to?
On your external SDCard, in "~/Android/data/burrows.apps.appmanager"

Why doesn't App Manager back up app data?
To protect user's data! This application does not "image" your phone.

Why doesn't App Manager back up certain applications?
Usually the application was installed in the "/data/app-private" folder which is protected. Usually system application are stored here.

Excellent This app this precisely everything it said; nothing more, and nothing less. I also appreciated the fact that it doesn't request so many outrageous permissions.

Dj Israr

Dj Israr Ali Very best software

Supaaaaaaai My phone is says No Space

David Collins

Does the job! Does what it says, flawlessly, without the bell & whistle add on's that you don't want or need.

Sambit Sethy

Tghjj Fgjji

. Need a chance to choose where the backup is stored. Now can not even find them.

A Google User

So close Update: One star added, but it will be great if you add app data backup and option to restore only the app data.

John Casey

What happened? Completely stopped working. Will probably have to delete it.

If only had automatic installer Was able to perform a batch backup very easily. Sadly, there was no automated batch installer, the entire process required that I hit install and done for each installed app. Also, I selected a bunch of the apps that I wanted to restore/re-install from the backup and it would only do 3-5 at a time and then just quit requiring me to go back and figure out which ones it didn't get to. Other than that, it's free and it is simple for mass backup, but still lacking in the install category.

App viewer and manager. Helps user organize and uninstall programs on device. Missing option to move apps from internal to sd - but makes up for it with one-touch info pop-up.

good but... really good app. it allowed me to do batch back up...but didn't give me the option to do a batch install...kinda sad!

At last! Modern replacement for AndroidMate I have been using AndroidMate for years to allow me to sideload apps. (First backup on one device. Then copy to another with Dropbox, Gmail, etc.) But AndroidMate has not been updated in years. App Manager is modern and far friendlier. As I suggested to the developer, I would like to see a setting so I can specify the backup folder. But that feature is not essential to getting benefit.

I love this app Wouldnt use anything else

Choose a safer location for back up App is very fast & works better than expected. But the default location for backing up apps is under android data folder which is potentially unsafe location to store data. Because whole backed up apps will be deleted in case one accidently uninstalls app manager itself. Please choose different path for back ups.

Great App Works well. Only wish it would bark up to external SD card. And include data file backup. I copied the bark up folder to my external SD card.

Will be great when it works This program makes nice and fast backups, but not fast enough. If screen times out, backup will stop.

A Google User

Works Does what it says, and fast. I also like that it only has a few permissions that it needs to function.

A Google User

Friendly ui Helps to backup the apps,so that no need to download again from play store every time install custom ROM..

A Google User

Not bad Nice value, nice speed. Good that you guys put backups in the right place.

A Google User

It Works, It just Works No fancy UI, "It does what it says on the tin"

A Google User

Works great! App does exactly as it says.

Svetlana Kopylova

Very useful Thanks for making it, ability to delete apps in batch is so missing in standard apps

Norman Smith

Kinda lame. No links for PlayStore. Sorting settings cannot be saved as default. Needs more work. :-P

Hamied Rza Sanie

Good to SD

Alan Jameson

Not backing up apps properly Most of the apps I backup do not get installed later as the package gets errors. also in bckup, icons does not display

Alexander P

Missing key features! Can't backup/restore all apps at once, no option to keep the APK's on my SD card instead of using up 1GB of my internal storage. Like the UI though.

Brandon Bevill

It's alright, but no outstanding features to warrant the name app manager to me, yet. -as someone said previously, no links back to the play store for clarity and context. - no fetch function to see all of the apks on your device, just the user installed ones. -cannot access system pre-installed apps. -*similar to all of the other standard apk backup/install apps*-other than the dev's rating engagment, it doesn't stand out to me. -not particularly useful for moderate to heavy users... It does allow you to select multiple, but not all at once.

khalid madkour

Love it Best desgin best performance , but can you make it able to read all apk on phone so I can manage all of them not just what the app had backuped

narsapuram Venky

Justin Fox

Excellent Does just what it says. One ad that takes up the whole screen after hitting "uninstall", close out of it, and ur good to go. Phenomenal, if you ask me.
