Apk file size: 4.8 MB

The ALPA Mobile Application is designed to provide public information about the work that ALPA does for the aviation profession and its 50,000+ members. The ALPA mobile application also includes an interactive guide to jumpseat policies for over 80 carriers as well as information about the Known Crewmember program. Additionally, for ALPA Members, there is a private area for Safety related information such as the International Directory and the Orange Card. Another members only component of the application contains contact and hotel information as well as other functions specific to each MEC once users login using their ALPA Number and password.

New features for ALPA Members in this version include Document, Event and Update functionality for MECs and LECs as well as an area in the Safety portion for FT/DT resources.

NOTE: Newer versions of Android devices have been having issues getting to the extended menu which allows you to access other applications within the ALPA mobile suite. This functionality can be accessed by pressing and holding the “HOME” button on your Android device instead of just tapping that button to return to the home screen.

Just a headliner Where is the stuff we use every day, like the KCM list? The latest update is just a clipping service for news.

Lynn Howard

Android no longer works You screwed up the program for android users on last release. The bottom bar that had alla and kcm and more / hotels and such is gone. Just a lousy news reader now. What exactly do my dues pay for exactly? A working functional app would be nice....

Jacquie W

No kcm No KCM access on Android makes this app useless to me.

Joseph Seelye

Fail on Android I am a recent convert to Android from iOS. This app works flawlessly on iPhone with access to the full app. On Android, the app is stretched and only shows the newsfeed screen and doesn't allow access to the rest of the app. Please fix!!

Marcel Acevedo

No KCM Pointless app without KCM access... just a news fed app.

Greg Lyon

Needs a software "menu" button. The most useful part of the app (KCM) is completely inaccessible if your phone doesn't have a dedicated hardware menu button. My Galaxy S5 is an example of a phone with such a design, and it's the standard now. Get with the times ALPA!

J Mcfeeters

News feed only on android, no functionality. Worthless

Michael Cook

Michael Cook Pretty much useless since the only thing visible is the news release bit. No KCM. Fail.

Ken McGreevy

Just a self-promotion It seems like mostly just a news feed. I'd rather it was designed to be useful to the member. The KCM, Jumpseat, Pilot Data Reporting system, etc. should be on the home screen, not news stories. Whoever commissioned the app to be written was clearly all about news, and not members.

Can't find KCM Update...I just got in touch with ALPA App & Web Development and got this recommendation - hold down, not just touch, the left button on your phone (I think it's the "home" key) and it will bring up the menu where you can find KCM, etc. It worked for me. I mainly use this app to find KCM info. Used to work fine on my old Motorola, but I can't find KCM info when I installed it on my new Samsung Galaxy S5.

Constantly crashes App crashes everything I try to log in

Rich Harwood

Great for KCM As they add KCM sites across the country this app keeps me updated on where it is active.

KCM works, but... Got the latest update on 16 Mar and KCM now available. Once you open the app, touch the Menu Icon(3 stacked dots). You'll see ALPA, MEC, KCM and JSEAT "buttons". Hotel info is under MEC. I'm on stock VRZN Galaxy Nexus, ICS. If you're a gadget guy or gal, you'll immediately recognize the screen shots for the app in Google Play are from the iPhone app. ALPA Mobile for Android is some sort of port of the iPhone app. I tried it on wife's iPhone and it looks and works very nice. On my Nexus, the fonts on the app home page are way too small for my poor geezer vision, even with reading glasses. Once you drill down to the page your looking for, like KCM or jumpseat, the info is in a larger readable font. Overall, the app is functional, but not very pretty. If you are new to Android, an apps functionality may be affected by your hardware, Android version, and carrier restrictions.

Average app It's free, and you're getting what you paid for. Good jumpseat info for the commuters out there. Other info is limited compared to the desktop application.

A Google User

It is ok Kcm and jumpseat are there, you just have to hit the menu button which I didn't realize at first. App homepage is just news.

A Google User

KCM useable, poorly sorted. How about putting the KCM airports in alphabetical order?

A Google User

seriously? cheap port. Antiquated ALPA @ its finest!

A Google User

KCM The known crewmember information rocks and the jumpseat guide is helpful

A Google User

Waste of good dues money Can't login. Set phone down next to laptop & use exact same credentials on laptop & WOW it works. Hope we didn't pay too much for such incompetent crap, but knowing ALPA this was written by someones brother/cousin & we're out 1/2 million ... Sigh ...

jumpseat menu buggy for Samsung Galaxy S2 The jumpseat portion of the app has a bug and does not display the airline name on the Samsung Galaxy S2. It displays when you select but you have no idea what you've selected. Fortunately, they are in alphabetical order and you can usually find the jumpseat policy of the airline you need by trial & error. Cumbersome. Needs to be fixed.

A Google User

Useless The font is tiny on my Galaxy Nexus and I can't find any useful functionality like KCM or Jumpseat info. Nothing but the typical ALPA propaganda in small, unreadable print.

A Google User

KCM & Jumpseat These 2 parts do not work well on the Samsung Galaxy.

A Google User

Worthless Obviously not spending our any of our dues on competent android programmers.

A Google User

Tim I was going to remove the app but noticed there was an update available. KCM is available with the update.

A Google User

Dpa here I come I love doughnuts

A Google User

Text size Text is almost unreadable. Too small

A Google User

Quick js ref Good way to pull up jump seat policy fast. Can get number to list for jetblue and amr/egl

A Google User

Missing KCM Despite what the magazine says, there is no KCM information in this app. There is no menu selection for it.

A Google User

Jumpseat info is useless I was under the impression that this was an actual Jumpseat application that'll help you find a flight at the last minute.

A Google User

Not as advertised KCM is not available. I attempted to download the ALPA app again to gain access to KCM but was advised that the app was already on my phone.

A Google User

KCM APP All the HYPE about the KCM APP and no link to the actual APP.

A Google User

Useless Just a bunch of old news stories... No Jumpseat in lower right corner as promised...

A Google User

KCM? Where is KCM?

A Google User

Does not work No jumpseat in lower right corner

A Google User

Not much more FastRead

A Google User

What a disappointment Slow to load and all links to stories I selected were broken. Most items are merely links or downloads that one can access easier on the website. The font on the labels is so small a magnifying glass is needed. The app is cumbersome, unpolished and not particularly useful to members. Needs a LOT of work. Uninstalled. DX

A Google User

Good start but incomplete! My MEC function needs more than just contacts info

A Google User

Easier to use the website. How about letting you connect to your MEC web page, and all it functions....keep trying alpa. I'll check back in few

Regan H

No kcm info I can't believe the kcm info is now missing. That was the only use I had for this app. Is the developer even passing attention? This has been an issue for months now.

John Jester

KCM still there I saw a lot of reports about KCM not being there but it is still there under the menu. It would be nice to have it up front though.

Robert Watson

ALPA Mobile App The sub menus do not work for Android. That was the most important part.

Glen Williams

ALPA isn't Fort Knox Why do I have to login every time? Is it ALPA's way to make us remember our username and password? I don't need to be nannied that way, ALPA. This is my phone which I secure. Why is it that banks allow apps to memorize usernames and passwords, but ALPA doesn't? Get real...

TJ Kreutzer

Non stop notifications Needs an option to disable notifications. Without this change I will probably delete

Andrew Olson

Fixed menu issue App is ok now that they fixed the menu issue.

Jeff Lantz

KCM Now I have to log in to check KCM locations. WHY? Not an improvement.

John Hrinko

ALPA Does not work, just a news reader, since i won't throw my phone in the trash, I'll just uninstall it.

Susan Alexander

No good info for Android users Just the news articles, come on guys! At least get KCM in there. I don't know who pressing and holding home works for but not the galaxy S5

Peter G

What happened to jump seat info and kcm?

Lee Lewis

KCM Still missing. ..where is the functionality?

Mark VanRotz

Data hog A useful application, especially for finding KCM checkpoints and operational times, but it is a data hog. Even when I turn off the ability for it to use background data it still finds a way to use data at an alarming rate. It has used over 4GB of data in the last 3 weeks and I haven't even used the app! Every time you open the app, it automatically refreshes the news articles chewing up data. I have no idea what it uses background data for or why it uses so much.
