Use the application to:
• Track your driving habits and help make the roads safer by monitoring your score
• Track your trips daily and analyze your performance based on four criteria:
o Driving smoothness. The more you can avoid fast acceleration, hard braking and hard cornering, the higher your score!
o Speed. Respect the speed limit to reduce the risk of an accident and maximize your score.
o Time of day travelled. Accident risks are lower at certain times of the day. Respecting speed leads to safer roads!
o Distance travelled. Shorter trips pay off because they help you increase your score. The less you drive, the more you save!
• Be aware of how you use your smartphone while driving
• Invite your friends to learn more about their driving habits with the Ajusto app and compare
• Save up to 25% on your auto insurance premium at renewal when you get an auto insurance policy from Desjardins Insurance and sign up for the Ajusto program!

Great insurance rate due to app Since I agreed to use the app and apparently am one of the first 20 android users in Canada to try it i got an awesome insurance rate. Well see how the app works over the year.
Works well, may be too sensitive. Just started using this app to see how my driving is. Seems to work well except it shows I was At-risk speed on a section of road where I know I was going at or below the posted speed limit of 70 km/h. It also shows two hard acceleration events within meters of each other going through an intersection with poor road conditions (near the airport crossing a road that has heavy truck traffic), I think this is a sensitivity issue.
Used for the first time today, I was driving carefully.. when I saw my trip report with hard braking every stop and hard cornering each turn I made we clearly understand that it dosen't work ..
Well put together, WAY too sensitive Wanted to test the app to see how well it worked. Drove home today as careful as possible: followed all recommended speeds for on-ramp corners, accelerated very slowly, gave PLENTY of space in front so I didn't have to break hard, etc. and got a 64! My drive could not have been smoother and I got 0 stars for smoothness. If I accelerated or cornered any slower I would have been honked at for sure! In fact, one of my "hard corners" was just a bump in the road on a long straightaway!
Usefull app It is really nice to be able to try the app and see the score you get before subscribing to the program
First to market with an app that really benefits the subscriber!
Has no option to exit app It also prevents power save mode. You cannot get a score of more than 90 if you drive during rush hour.
Too power hungry Too restrictive and punitive for highway driving and mixed road conditions
Drain on the battery Reduced my phone usage considerably.
It's not working!!! Data and gps are enable but app doesn't record any trip!
Drains the battery of my cell phone by a lot. Fix it.
Doesn't work... App doesn't work, gives me an app_error when tempting to log in with 8 digit code.. Really not impressed with this since I'm an employee of Desjardins and was looking foward to using this app.
Not for me Programming not there yet. Can not tell the difference between walking and driving. Would have to review trips tens of times daily to change them from a .1 km drive to I was walking. ... Also could not tell the difference between hands free calls/texts and hands on device use. ..
Doesn't leave room for defensive driving Doesn't take into account defensive driving. There have been a few times where I lost marks for having to slam the brakes when someone nearly veered into me ect. If anything being able to maneuver without an accident should gain marks. I understand this would be hard to input, but you should be able to click on the hard breaking icon and select defensive driving. Also if a passenger checks my phone for me for directions ect. I get dinged for distracted driving which sucks.
Good enough but lacking in many ways Reads as "excessive acceleration" on the on ramp of a highway. Also uses way too much battery power on the phone. It's the number one battery hog on my phone.
Adjusto Keeps my driving in check
Works for me It's not perfect, but how could it be?
Battery consumption issue Good idea but the app is a battery hog. I'm not a regular driver. I wish it could be something that doesn't always have to be running in the background.
Too sensitive and crashes on Android This app is really too sensitive. It detects avoiding small bumps as sharps turns... The app also crashes on android with "wrong_app" message when trying to fill information. I was able to use it on iOs.
Stopped working It stopped working after I got my "Superstar Apprentice" achievement. I liked it better when it was simply tracking and assessing my trips. It's not a game that I need to earn achievements. I hope they simplify it back.
No matter how you drive it says hard cornering and hard braking
Won't stop calibrating Registered one trip and then stopped working and constantly said it was on a trip even the next day.
It's so sensible Since I've installed this version, I've had a problem with hard cornering advises.
Terrible! Not only is it a huge battery drain, but it's way too sensitive. Starting from a stop while going uphill in a manual shouldn't count as fast acceleration. Plus many other issues.
So so I liked the original version two many medals bow.
Cool app but serious battery drainer I use it everyday and have to say its pretty accurate. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I'm currently at a 90% overall score which they say its a 22% discount. HOWEVER, this app is the third biggest consumer of battery power in my phone, behind "Android System" and "Android OS". Desjardins seriously needs to get this right.
Good idea The idea is good however real life driving is not black and white. For example speed limits. I live in montreal and the stretch of highway 20 where it says 70km/h max speed. Well no one respects that, if i were to drive 70 on that stretch i will become a hazard myself. 30km/h school zone, guess again no one is driving at that speed either. It is little things like this that will end up penalizing you for no fault of your own.
Gives a good review on driving/haven't used discount yet/ uses up data and battery like crazy If someone else touches your phone while driving it counts as "distracted driving"... why
Found it useless
Liked the app but had to uninstall because it suddenly started causing my LG G4 to get insanely hot and run out of battery in 3 hours.
Not quite fair I like that it tracks driving habits to give one a break on auto insurance however I am not happy that the app gives you a poor rating for driving at "risky" times of the day like morning and late afternoon. These are the times I commute to work and I can't help that. I drive carefully and below the speed limit yet are rated in The 70s due to time of day traveled. Not very fair!
It's so sensitive Since I've installed this version, I've had a problem with hard cornering advises.
It's great! I had issues with hard cornering. Until I realized placement of the device played a HUGE difference. I tried it both on my centre console, and while in my left pocket while driving. After a while, I have noticed that leaving it on the centre console made my rating stay in the 90+. And while in my pocket (especially in a manual car) it was in the mid 80s. So yeah.... Placement is a huge factor.
Annoying messages and can't exit app It keeps alerting me to turn on my location and theres no way to turn that off and I can't exit or turn the app off. Theres a permanent "telematics in action" reminder along with the gps locator must be on and please turn location on remonders constantly going off. I'm not living in and driving my car 24/7.
Technical issues It won't track my trips which is ironically funny because that's what it is supposed to do
Kills my battery! It says it uses Google info to calculate your driving. But it's using 10-20%of my battery. Google doesn't use that much with Google fit. Not sure why this app is reducing battery life by about 2+ hours for the day. My phone would last all day and even until the next morning but now it's done at 8 or 9pm. On top of that it says I accelerate to fast and corner to fast. With a hybrid car I'm pretty fuel conservative. Very disappointed in the app.
