Does not work I have contacted the support staff several times now and this still doesn't work. Ever since the update, I can't arm or disarm the alarm from the app. It continually says "connecting" and never connects. Aren't I paying extra for this "Pulse Feature". Can we get it fixed please?

PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE PULSE Please don't sign up for this feature if you have a Samsung Galaxy! If you do, make sure it is functioning BEFORE your 3 contract business days (including Saturday)are up! This app does not work. I should have thoroughly read the reviews first. The same thing happens to me...I can log in just fine to the app but I am unable to arm/disarm my system..just says please wait and spins..I cannot access the setup or logout. I never comment on apps but just had to hoping to save someone else time and MONEY!

Does Not Work This app does not work, you try to arm it and it says please wait and a few minutes later takes you back to the home screen. Can't wait to get rid of this service

I love the convenience this app has to offer sometimes things are slow or try not to work but then i login in adt portal on the web and i can do some of the things the app cant also the cameras run smoother on the web and you can see the pictures or clips off to the side i thinj this app needs a few more improvements but until then the website works better and you can access more stuff as well as change

Not as good as the other app This app really sucks...does not use the whole screen like the other did, can't zoom in it's no longer in the app store when you arm or disarm says please wait forever. Going to try TWC when my contract is up.

Great I was concerned after reading all of the bad reviews, but downloaded it anyway, I'm glad I did. Works exactly as it is supposed to, no lag, or any other issues.

Just a few annoyances This new version works really well on my Galaxy 5S. For more practicality it would be best if it just kept you logged in and only required the PIN for arming/disarming and locking/unlocking doors. It's a pain in the butt having to log back in every time I want to turn lights off and on, which we use this for quite frequently. It will occasionally take several tries to change the thermostat settings but overall we really like the app and use it daily.

App doesn't work and ADT is sub par. The app does not work on my LGV10. App freezes and is supremely unreliable. About 30% of the time I can't use it. 90% of the time it's slow and glitchy. Also ADT is a horrific company to deal with, $1,300 to cancel the contract... Go with another company, please!

Zero star if I could!!!!! Why is it always an error that occurs when I try to arm or disarm my alarm!? The app needs a serious reprogramming! After the update on 12/7/2015 it still doesn't work

Suddenly have to upgrade. There is mo other wau to activate the alarm. Seems is to early custom serves is not in service.I forgot the password and the systen dosent re ognize may username so my house can be secure. Bad moment to ask for update. I will get another company.

Cool app but buggy I have a Samsung S5 and the app works for me except the downstairs thermostat and the front porch light lose connection all of the time. Mind you, they are still actually working, have working wifi and I can still control them through the Pulse website on my laptop, BUT in the app, they will appear offline and can't be found. They'll later appear. The last bug fix brought and end to thermostat issues, but brought forth endless porch light offline messages. About 6 per day. And thermostat started failing

Unnecessary Update Worked fine until most recent update. Now can not set or disarm from my phone. Very inconvenient. Ive disinstalled and readded app and still same issue. Wish i hadnt turned down the keyfob for this piece of crap app.

Does not work! The app offline so many time, cant arm or disarm. The most important thing is we want to view the camera and when is offline we aren't able to check anything. Then why we should bother to install camera if we cant even check what is going on around the house! I'm sick of this!!! Please fix the problem!!!

Just as with the majority of the comments, my app will not arm the system with my S5. Says there are issues then goes back to the home screen. Thought by now ADT would have fixed the issues. Bring back the old APP until you fix the issues with this one ADT.

This is horrible, I don't understand why they built a whole new app that won't even connect to my system. I cannot see the status of my system or turn the alarm on and off through it. The old app worked great, this is completely unacceptable.

Conceptually it's a great idea. In real life however, I'm still having trouble with this app. I'm glad to see that the crashing issue has been fixed. But now I can't arm the system remotely using my Android smartphone, or view Home Activity. Hopefully soon it'll get there, but for now it's frustrating.

Worthless! As other reviews have stated, it does not work. It shows that the system is armed, despite standing inside my house, looking at my system (which was disarmed at the time), but shows on the app that my system is armed! Have a Samsung Galaxy 5, as does my husband. He has the same problem too.The app is garbage! ??? ADT FIX THIS ASAP!

From ok to terrible Old app worked mutch better new app was terrible then the update corrected a large number of the issues made it tolerable now after most recent up date it's back to square one the thermostat setting only goes up again and will not sync with thermostat. Seems like it only goes backwards when the update never a positive direction. As usual it's not ADT'S problem it's always the end user's problem. The technical support for the app seem to always push the blame of to end user. Voice control is a joke.

Horrible! This app is horrible, it doesn't tell me anything. I can't arm or disarm my system. It keeps saying it's connecting. It doesn't give you accurate activity monitoring. I want the old app back or fix this one!

Expect More Still doesn't work. Tried calling ADT and they blamed it on cell towers being down. Was working great before the upgrade and the new cell equipment was put in my key pad. Now I feel I should be pro rated since I'm not getting what I'm paying for.

Better... Updated review: Seems to be working okay now. Orginal review: Was working just fine before the update. Could not get in so I had to update, now I can't arm or disarm, can't see the camera, nothing. Smh. Seems like you added more bugs not fixed anything.

Works great It was not working at first but I had a great technician that would not give up....needless to say he worked out the kinks and now it works great. There is absolutely no lag between the time I use the app to arm or disarm my system. Great job ADT.

Version 7.3.0 is much improved! PIN access works perfectly and redesigned app is intuitive and crash free. Arm/disarm is easy and cameras are side swipable. Switching between different addresses now functions, as does checking individual sensors. Please resolve Internet gateway issues so we have reliable connection.

Disappointed Ever since updating the Pulse app my live view cameras haven't worked and we cannot turn on the alarm. Called customer service but nothing has been solved. Not sure what I am paying for since Pulse app features on my mobile device don't function. Please fix the issues with the new update.

Needs to work Half the time when I try and log in I get the reply. "Unable to access service please try again later" what the hell kind of "security" is that. Very poor service. If it's not fixed I'll go get better service else where.

This is for s#&t Useless. Keeps saying a door is open. It's not. Confirmed by police & family who checked for safety. So, useless & embarassing. Uninstalled & reinstalled twice. Still says door is open, never connects & times out when inputting pin. What happened to the pulse app that worked? Hate this & now going to get cameras installed for safety since i can't trust this system.

Good: Interface is so much better than before. Quick pin code is great; used to have to type in the entire password Had trouble with the Pulse connecting, but after having the receiver updated on the control panel it's working great. Bad: The upload image of the home fails.

New pin every update Why do I have to set a new pin every time the app has an update? Also would be nice if the motion sensor shut off more quickly. I can arm the system from the house without having to bypass the motion sensor but I have to wait for what seems like five minutes to arm from the app for the motion sensor to clear. Also would be nice if there was a way of setting a panic alarm from the app if there were an issue, like the panels and my old handheld remote have and let me reprogram my lights schedule from the app

This app is completely broken. I cannot Arm or Disarm from the phone very often, the camera is way too slow to load as well. Why did you fix what isn't broke, the old app worked just fine.

Love this app and it's easy to use I have a samsung galaxy s6 edge and this app works perfectly. I can disarm and arm my alarm with no problem by clicking the symbol at the top right corner. I am not sure why all the negative reviews and others having so many problems, I have never had one issue with this app or any of the updates. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

For a home security "upgrade" feature, Pulse sucks!! What ever you do, do not waste your money upgrading to Pulse. There are too many bugs ADT must workout in their tech. Pulse just does not work and you will end up being frustrated that you cannot take care of your home security issues, away and at your convenience. Bottom line, Pulse is not convenient and you will simply end up calling ADT and having the rep take care of it. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! If I could rate this app with zero stars....I would!!!

Do not use this app other than a novelty. I received a call that my alarm was going off and when i opened the app to look at my cameras it locked up my phone for 5 minutes. If it had been an emergency i would have had no way to dial 911.

Ratings dropped from 4.8 to 3.2 after new ADT 7.3 app released. Bring 7.2 version back! New app NOT SECURE for business and home HELP! 1.I need to see my HOME VIEW when I sign in, NOT A PHOTO! 2.I Can no longer see name of user who arms/disarms system at my business . 3.I Can no longer quickly or conveniently switch between home and business. 4.When I record a clip via camera, there's no recording indicator. 5.Now I must scroll to use lights and thermostat. 6.Now I must scroll to see sensors. 7.Still sluggish. It gets the job done, but isn't the best It's slow to start up. But the worst thing is the way the app works. It collapses all your devices into categories. Then, when you click the category to expand them, it only shows a few... So you have to expand the list further to see them all. When you scroll down to, say, turn on a light, it collapses there list again... So, to turn on several lights, you need to constantly expand the list and scroll back down to find out. Rather frustrating. Also, the should let you "pin" some favorites for quick access

It's lacking a major feature. The app is great at seeing status the while system and remote arming. It will even email you if an alarm is tripped which is where my problem is. Why not alert my phone via the app which is a lot faster than an email.

Keeps freezing Every time I use the app and switch between cameras, it freezes up. And one of my backyard cameras keeps going off line. So it is very useless. The camera don't help if it is not online. If they would fix this, I would be completely satisfied. STOP IT FROM FREEZING

Constantly crashes The alarm crashes every time you "try" to arm your alarm. Crashes at inappropriate times.. when you are disarming the alarm and it won't disarm because it's loading and logs you out. BUT then your password won't work even you just input a few seconds ago.

- The main image (image of my home) I choose from my device to save in the app doesn't save after returning to the home screen or returning to the app. This is an obvious and embarrassing bug. - Sensor notifications do not clear in time for me to arm my house. When I arm and the sensor is off it give me warning message saying I'm arming the house with a sensor active. - App has crashed several times while using it. - Why does this app not give me push notifications? It is an app after all. Emailing me notifications is not appropriate for a security app -- it takes be too long to check my email and see that the system gave me an update. Hard to believe a home security company would release such a buggy version of their app. I mean the home image issue ... in version 7...

I have been with ADT for 6 years.I recently upgraded to adt pulse. I haven't had 1 problem with cameras, sensors, APP, nothing! Im Amazed at all the negative reviews... The most important info I learned was, you need a CONSTANT UPLOAD speed of 1.5 mbps at all times of day from your I.S.P to operate your MAIN ADT PULSE BOX to contact the server. I UPLOAD at 25.4 mbps & no lower than 20 mbps all day. I can access my cameras instantly! 1.5 UPLOAD speed sounds like nothing, but most I.S.P barely UPLOAD 5 mbps

New Version does not work Just downloaded the 7.4.2 version and it is full of issues. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S6 and an iPad 4th generation. I have no issues at all with the iPad. That's how I know what should be happenong. It won't let me arm/disarm the system. Just gives me a constant "please wait" while it tries to load something and then kicks out of that screen back like nothing ever happened. The Settings or Logout buttons don't work. As well as the floor plan button...it does nothing as well. Very sad update.

ADT pulse app 4/22/15 Constantly freezing. I can hardly ever arm my panel from the app and I can never disarm it at all. I'm not sure if this app is even capable of actually notifying me of every time a window or door is opened weather my panel is armed or disarmed. Vivent is capable of actually/literally notifying you of these actions. I have spoken with a ADT customer support person and all they say is to Un-install the app then re-install it. Witch doesn't seem to work.

Fantastically Executed App Great strides with this app! I would love to see more integration/automation options with the IFTTT app. For example: 1. When my Dash app determines I left home automatically arm my ADT security system. 2. When my device (phone) has disconnected from my Google OnHub Wi-Fi Router then "Arm" my ADT security system.

Always offline Hey adt, why don't you look at your app ratings, and do something about it? Maybe get a new app designer, or actually fix the problems. There's as many 1 star ratings as good ones. That's terrible. This app is offline more than it is online. Which means I can't remotely arm or disarm, can't view cameras, basically can't use pulse at all. Stuck using the stupid key pad like I'm in 1995. Half the time out won't even let me log in. Says my credentials are invalid. Scrolling between cameras freezes the screen.

The app performs the basic functions but the app needs some features added and a major design overhaul. It looks like a rough draft of an app, or even a school project in terms of design quality. Now that material design language is out, they need to revamp it even more. All in all the app is too much of a pain to use for day-to-day use. Its much easier to arm/disarm from the panel than with the app. They also need to do things like add an option for bio-metric login, like the fingerprint scanner. Also, since they are trying to get into home automation, they would do well to take some notes from the interfaces of dedicated IoT apps.

Working again (4 now) 7.4.2 seems to have fixed my issues, for now. We'll see after a little while. I can finally see my cameras again.. I hated not having that feature. I'm a stay at home mom with a 8 month old. I like to know who's at my door.

Thermostat bug is back It was horrible before, you fixed it, and now the bug is back. Both my phone, Samsung Galaxy S7 and my wife's LG G2 are having the issue. When you try and change the temp of the thermostat, the temp setting goes right back to what it was,immediately. No matter what temp you try to input, it won't stay. I know it's "pretty", but if part of the problem is coding of a pretty thermostat section, or any other section, we'd rather have functionality.

Adt pulse app always offljne App always shows my system as offline unless I am home and connected to our Internet connection. This totally defeats the purpose of the app as when I am not at home is the time the app functions would be needed.

Slow when it works, but if you are on Marshmallow, doesn't work well at all. I'd say 4 out of 5 times I open it it just errors and closes now. When I can get in, more than half the time it fails and crashes when I try to disarm or arm the system. Need to get with the times ADT, I KNOW it is the APP because the MOBILE SITE SCREAMS...

Can't log on What the ^$$$_ have you done to the accounts now. I am able to log on then one day I can't log on. My password will not work. I am going to change companies if this doesn't get fixed very QUICKLY. I will get out of my contract since you have breached your part of the contract.

QA / QC get real - on the deal, terrible Custumer had to report it to ADT who kew nothing about it again lasted about a month from last failure - bad for sales. This hurts the ADT brand, they should have hired a quality VP like me.

4-digit pin? Not now, not ever V7.4.2 - Stop setting the "Create a 4 digit pin..." switch to "On" every time I login. I will never create a 4-digit pin. This is the 4th update that continues to have this annoying feature. Once I, the user, set the switch to "Off" it should stay off. The 4.7.2 What's New says you fixed bugs related to login. This login but it's still not fixed.

Needs work I have a note 5 and when i sign in i have to make sure i close it out if i dont and i make a phone call or if someone calls me the app opens up and i have to close it before i can answer the call love the app for arming and checking cam but its annoying when it opens when i dont want it to plaese fix

Works when it wants, delayed response Honestly going to cancel ADT, because altogether as a service, it doesn't work well. The app is a prime example. I was sold on paying more for the Pulse access and not getting the remotes because if how well it worked. No, always a delayed response, and that's if it will even log in. There are times where it will just keep saying "unable to access service". So I can't set my alarm, already away from my home. Then it's in me to try and remember to try and access the app again when it may or may not work.

Full screen view I didnt get the portable keypad because i was told the app would do the same functions...well come to find out the full screen view doesnt work and adt has known about it for over 2 months. I am debating on cancelling my acct.

Does the trick! No instructions, so be prepared to figure it out yourself. I use three light modules & only one lets me adjust the brightness. The other two is only working as an off/on switch. Be warned that telephone help needs more people to lower it's waiting times. Have had the longest being 47 min & the fastest time of 28. Other than that, it works as advertised. The camera covering our back yard caught the thief who stole my teens bike. Next day cops had the kid in custody & the bike back where it belongs.

What's the point of having Pulse... ...if the app that controls it sucks this bad?? I had the Pulse system installed in my house yesterday, added the app on my Nexus 6p and had to reset the app a couple of times already because I'm having the same login issues that others are reporting. Dudes! Nexus is reference Android! Really? Just bad programming! ADT are you folks that cheap that you can't spend money on better app development?! My daughter lives with me, uses an iPhone, installed the app and has the same issues. Ridiculous!

Nice Cyber Security Specialist- App has system logs, (i.e. when doors or windows are opened and closed, also when motion triggers are tripped), which is used by top security companies and security technologies (i.e. Cisco IOS to mention one) If you know Cisco IOS need I say more... Alarm can be armed and disarmed using cellular technology. Listen... always do your homework first! Also troubleshooting before commenting is the best practice. However, most issues are contributed towards user error...

Slow login Takes a long time to login and arm/disarm. My 6 year old laughs when she can run in the house and disarm before me on the app. My daughter is laughing at me and ADT. Lame.

Horrible Service All ADT will do is draft your account for a service that never works. Techs waste hours to tell you it can be fixed, call someone out again, and with all this you are also charged $25 for them to come out to never fix the problem. Another plus, customer service will repeat your questions over and over and also never fix the problem. With that being said, if you LOVE to give money away for nothing ADT is where you need to be!

Not really good for anything... This app is garbage. Just about the only thing i can do is see when my doors were opened. It doesnt arm or disarm my system, so it's pretty much useless. STILL DOESNT ARM OR DISARM! Hasnt changed....

The full screen live camera view still doesn't work. So, what exactly did you fix? This is a major bug that still persists throughout several "updates". Do you test these things on majority of phones sold in U.S.A. before the software release to the public or your Pakistani/Indian programmers don't have access to any? Really ADT? I mean, really!??

WILL NOT LOG IN. What's the point of this app if it literally does nothing? And, the service is terrible. Comes with next to nothing and all the useful things are extra. Want them to drive by your house when the alarm goes off? That's either $250 for the police or $6 a month for ADT and $56 per visit. Want fire monitoring? THAT'S EXTRA TOO! Our sales person made no mention of any of these services and instead kept telling us about the cameras. No one needs ADT cameras for their house. Should cancel.

Works, but slow and buggy This app makes me envious of my friends with Xfinity Protect. ADT Pulse app takes FOREVER to connect, whether I'm on WiFi or LTE - that's if it connects at all... sometimes it just sits there doing nothing and I have to hit Home and close the app to try again. My kids HATE this thing, so do I.

It works perfectly. Taught me a lesson too! This app is great. I regret not updating sooner. I read the bad reviews and did not update. I finally got an app version backup app... backed up the old version and then installed this new version. I feel dumb now based off of the bad reviews. It works perfectly. ADT - I would like to have in the notification bar whether my system is armed or disarmed. That would be SO helpful!!! Please add this! Also maybe a widget to be able to arm or disarm.

Too slow Startup time is awful. No idea, what's happening during application startup, but it's the slowest app I have on my phone. Please make it fast enough so I can just arm/disarm system without waiting for live video stream to load.

Constantly "Offline" I consistently see that the app itself is offline when I open it. I have contacted customer service twice now, and request me to do the same thing...reboot system, and wait. It tends to work for a day or two, but continues to go offline thereafter. I agree with other reviewers as well...very slow operational system in addition to my own issue mentioned above.

Corrupt Application Time: 7:55am. I updated the application or app this morning and now the app doesn't work. I cannot login to the system to check status, arm or disarm the system. Sadly this is the only app that ADT has for the pulse system. Someone needs to address this problem Now!!! This is a major security problem. Update: 15:11 pm it appears that ADT has solved the problem and the app is again able to communicate with the system. Fantastic

Not being dependable sometimes Love the system and ADT, but It keeps telling me that my credentials have expired. This is the second time in 2 weeks! VERY INCONVENIENT. Seems to be when I'm already down the road on my way to work. When I try to log in with my password it tells me it's invalid, even though I finally wrote it down after so many malfunctions and makes me late for work because I have to turn around and go back home to activate my alarm system. Would love for my credentials to stay valid for longer than a couple of weeks.

Half-assed at Best This app's constant glitches and disconnections are its downfall. What good is a security app that isn't reliable? I can't have a secure home only half the time. I have top speed, high quality Internet connection and equipment, yet this app (the only one of my apps) can never seem to consistently stay connected and reliable. Every time I call in to customer service, I have to be on hold for a minimum of 3o minutes. I take a screen shot of each hold time. They hardly help when they answer.

Old app I have a note 5 and for some reason my app doesn't look anything like the pictures on the app store. I feel like im working with an old outdated app. Also everytime someone calls me, the app opens up. Very annoying.

Love the mobile abilities. Unable to utilize some features. I like that I am able to view the cameras. Arming and disarming from my phone is awesome. The issue is with not being able to view the video clips for a potential Burgulary? I have the latest Android and my employee has an iPhone. I have to call her to review the clip before I can disarm. My other employees have Androids too and are unable to view video clips as well. My issue is pretty important and needs to be fixed ASAP. It really renders the app useless for managing security.

Need more work to make the application better. 3 Star for only achieve the basic requirement. The idea of ADT Pulse is great - make home safe and smart with automation system. The implementation is far more under expectation - no customized options, not able to configure the individual sensor, app is slow and always lost connection. Recommendation to ADT Pulse and the developers: see how Smartthings and Nest works and how they design their application. For the amount of dollar we spend (PER MONTH) there should be a better software design, UI design and responsible service. If nothing is changed in next year, I think I will probably switch to some better internet based burglary system.

Ratings dropped from 4.8 to 3.2 after new ADT 7.3 app released. Bring 7.2 version back! New app NOT SECURE for business and home I've had Pulse since 2012. NEW APP IS STRESSFULL. I need assurance, simple, & convenience when monitoring my home & business! Problems 1, I Can no longer see users name who arm/disarm my systems. 2, I Can no longer quickly or conveniently switch between home & business. This app is VERY SLOW. 3.When I record a clip via camera, there's no recording indicator. 4, Now I must scroll down to use lights & thermostat & to see sensors which is frustrating when I'm in a hurry because this app is SLUGGISH. This app taught me a lesson. Update: New update works fine. So many bad reviews for a GREAT app. It's smooth, reliable and streamlined. I never leave reviews but this is a homerun. The old app was hot garbage. And thank you for finally putting in a 4 digit code. Works fine off wifi too. I waited to download it because of bad reviews. I'll never do that again.

App won't connect and crashes constantly I made the mistake of doing the update and now the app has no real use. Won't connect so I can't arm/disarm. When I try to log out it just stalls and I get a error window pop up that the app has stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no luck. I should have backed up the older version to use.

App status lag and disarm failure Just had install yesterday. Alarm went off due to "event" as garage door sensor went off at 340AM. Went immediately to this app to see what zone was triggered and it did not register the event yet. Took a few minutes to do so. Useless as a realtime monitor. ADT most certainly should be able to speed up feedback back to the app unless the cell comms TO ADT are slow, which would then be scary. Also, this morning I attempted to disarm the system with the app and it didn't work, just a "connecting" pop up.

Everything is great, one problem though So when I click on the blueprint icon in the upper left hand corner, that screen doesn't seem right. The blue latest activity bar goes across the middle of the screen, blocking some of the text... I have a droid turbo 2 and it has all the latest updates. Please help. And just out of curiosity, is there any way you guys can look into making a widget that I can add to my home screen that I can do the basic common commands with? Like the arm, and disarm functions.

Text Alerts All of you that want to have text messages (in addition to an email) when an alarm goes off need to call ADT and complain that your installer did not show you how to set up text messaging alerts. I do it for every single one of my customers, no complaints yet!

I have only been able to use my pulse app like 2 or 3 times to you what's going on inside my home while I am gone. I like to be able to see my dogs and what they are doing while I'm gone LOL. But thanks to the pulse app on my phone it Iwil not take my email address it will not accept my password which I have tried to change many times and it has not worked yet and I have had this service a long time and it just does not work well at all. I am so frustrated no one really helps me. I just wish I could get some real help from someone who is really knowledgeable about ADT Pulse.

This app never loads properly. I can never view my camera feed and its always freezing. The hassle is not worth the money you spend. I use my wifi and Verizon both of which have no connection problems.

Can't Disarm I travel for a living so of course I thought this would be a good idea. NOPE I was wrong. Disarming works when I'm in town but of course when I leave town and need to disarm to allow people in and out IT DOESN'T WORK and customer service is absolutely no help. Told me I need to be at the location. Well if I travel how can I be two places at once. I'll be canceling services when I get back home!!!

Please add finger print security for devices that support it. I'd also like a better way to get to more information in the app rather than try to press the tiny "more activity" button at the bottom of each module I guess you'd call it. Even a slide out many would be preferable to what you currently have. Beside that the app itself is just generally slow to respond and the interface not very thought out.

I guess it gets the job done This is easily the slowest app I have ever used, and it's not my connection, have used it on full blast wifi and 4G. When I am arming or disarming the system I'm literally waiting a full minute to get in it and do something. The "live" cameras aren't live, they load the camera image and than freezes there so you can't watch what's going on unless you keep sliding back and forth between the cameras to keep loading it.

Needs upgrade I'm using doorbell camera installed by ADT. After checking who's at the door, I've to go to Ring app to unlock the door. It takes 1000 hours and sometimes it shows not connected to wifi. I've seen Vivint app, which is cool. You can lock or unlock the door while talking and the storage is free, can take pics and videos and save them. ADT being the best for security systems (as you claim), I'd expect better than Vivint atleast. Hope you guys upgrade soon or lose ur all customers in 5 years to Vivint

Awesome! Not! Just started using app again. Wow over a minute waiting for the alarm to clear only to be told it couldn't connect to command center. Last time I used app was over 2 years ago and it used to work fine. Now it needs serious help. Update. Just tried to set alarm. No luck. Total crap. Uninstalled. Better off with keypad.

Could be better I've noticed that:1.when I view the camera from the app sometimes it's in color and sometimes it's in black and white which makes it hard to see anything. (Why can't I have the option to make it color when I want it) and 2. I tested the "live view " and it wasn't live when it said I was looking at a live view. I had to keep refreshing it to see a live view. It freezes. PLEASE FIX I would also like this app to have it where the owner can set from what time start to what time end when taking clips .

Non responsive Good for viewing sensors and knowing if they are open or closed, but when trying to activate or disarm alarm it just loads and loads and does nothing. It eventually just goes away and alarm doesn't change. Just had installed today and can't even use the app that I pay extra for. Needs to be fixed immediately.

Doesn't Work Anymore This app used to work great for me. I used it a lot. Now it is stuck in a constant state of connecting and I am unable to arm or disarm my alarm. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, as well as having cleared the cache and data, but the no avail. I'm uninstalling, as it is pointless to have an app that does nothing.

Reprehensible This ridiculous excuse for an app puts their otherwise good reputation to shame. Repeatedly kicked me out after correct usage of my password and code. Plus the interface looked liked it was created by some kid in middle school. For God's sake, invest in this app. My generation will eventually only use this app. Have some dedicated professionals whose only job is the maintenance of all mobile platforms.

Could be way better! I have all the same issues that everyone else who has reviewed this app. For the price I pay and for the ADT install price I paid/paying this app should work all the time. It takes more than a minute to arm or disarm and that's when it actually will work. At the moment my app doesn't work at all...saying offline. Nothing wrong with Internet at home and everything else shows to be working fine. App needs to be fixed!

Crappy App In today's world you would expect a mobile app to control your security system. You pay extra for this app and I don't know why. It is something like $6 more per month. The performance is poor. It is slow to load, slow to authenticate, slow to arm/disarm my security system and it has nothing to do with my network or my Nexus 5x. The app needs to be rebuilt and focus on the making the core functionality responsive. I only pay for it for convenience. Pls address performance issues.

5 stars before update I called adt and they they couldn't fix the problem.I can't load full screen on live view. They seemed to not know how to fix the problem.I bought a new lg g5 thinking that would solve my problem but it obviosly didn't. Is there a solution to this?

Useless now The app no longer connects to the system, no matter what. Cannot arm/disarm from the phone, and now sensor data is no longer updating. This has been going on for at least four months and despite several updates, not fixed. It appears from all the recent reviews that many users are having the exact same issues, so rather than fixing each one individually, ADT should just install the fix into the app upgrade once and for all.

Iffy App acts like it doesn't know what to do when you give it a command. Does not give the user much of a choice on settings. Cannot find how to reach out for help. New to this app so maybe I expect too much. I cannot get my camera to take pictures or videos when there is movement. What good is the entire system & app? It will take it if I push the key to do so. Thought it was automatic once system armed. Help!!

An app alarm would be super Our house was broken into while we were on vacation. Silly us, we thought that the app would alert us. Nope. What good is an alarm app that doesn't let you know when your alarm has been triggered? Sheesh.

Need my old app! These last few updates haven't fixed the bugs. The app I had last fall was much better. My "Live View" isn't live. And I know this since my ceiling fan isn't spinning in the video feed. I also have difficulty arming and disarming form the app. Kindly fix, please !

App no longer works This app did work great and now I can no longer view any history of the system. I can log on to the desktop portal and see it there but the app will not display it. It shows the 2 recent events in the preview of the main page but when you click on the "more activity" link it takes you to the history page but it is blank. I have deleted the app and the cache data then re-installed it with no change. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Worthless Reads status of my panel no problem, but gives me "Command Failure...panel is not available...try later" when I try to arm or disarm. Tried dozens of times at different hours and days. Tried uninstall/reinstalling the app with no success.

From 2 to 4 Updated my review. They quickly addressed many issues. It works great now. But why does the PIN input feel so lathergic? It feels like typing on a overloaded system. It has been that way since day one of this new app. Please fix.

When i tried to disarm or turn on my alarm through the app it does not work. This app is garbage. I never had problems with the old app. But this one does not work. I can not disarm not arm through the app. Perhaps i should seek security from a competent company Update. So I figured out the issue. When a technician came and switched out my keypad, he did not tell me that I had to go online to pulse and update my code . My app is working again. Thanks
