'Anesoft ACLS Sim 2012' is the third of a series of apps from Anesoft Corporation to improve your resuscitation skills. This app enables you to rehearse megacode management - anytime, anywhere. With regular practice you will always be ready to run a full cardiac resuscitation.

You must evaluate the patient and electrocardiogram rhythm, decide on the appropriate management, and guide two assistants through the resuscitation. The assistants are skilled, but will only do what you tell them to do. You must serve as the team leader for the resuscitation efforts.

The 12 case scenarios included with this app were written by Howard Schwid, MD. The first three cover ventricular fibrillation, the next two are for pulseless ventricular tachycardia, another covers asystole, and the remainder of the cases cover the tachycardia algorithm.

Not worth the money The first 6 cases are all pulseless vtac/vfib/asystole. There are no cases of bradycardia. Also it doesn't accept a few interventions (e.g. stating it is wrong to administer vasopressin in asystole in place of one of the first 2 administrations of epi).

Yvonne Garry

It's ok It nice to have something to quiz your once and awhile. However, 1)there is no brady mega code. 2)There are agencies that use vasopressin and lidocaine. 3) It would be more helpful if there were rhythm changes like VF/VT into PEA

Aweful!! Dont waste your money!! I cant see the ekg strips on the galaxy s4. So much for that idea. What a waste of money!

Great game! Best app in the market hands down. Great game to keep up with your skills and for review. Just wish it has a sounds when you shock or what not. But great game!

Great practice Very good sim to practice ACLS. Would love to see them come out with an advanced medical simulator with myocardial infarction and strokes.

ACLS Simulator Great concept but font is so small I can't read it. Too bad. Waste of money.

Linda Petrone

bug in the monitor display sometimes the previous ekg is not erased and the new one is superimposed on it, which makes it more difficult to read. Other than that, new cases should be added once in a while (see the Prognosis app, which btw is free...)

Highly reccomended Best app I've come across. Great for refreshing your skills during a code. Well worth the price!

Like being in a good sim lab! This is pretty much exactly what I needed to practice codes - like having a fully stocked code cart and a team.

Great I've only done the first 2 cases so far and I think the app is perfect. THIS is what I expect from the digital age: interactive learning not a wall of text and static pictures. Keep up the good work! Please add more cases if you have the time
