Glaring and unnecessary I don't like the way it's so glaringly obvious and brighter than all the other buttons, so I permanently have it disabled in settings. I used to occasionally briefly switch it back on to take a screenshot, but I've just found out that Android 4 can take a screenshot simply by pressing the power and volume down buttons for a second. So this is now totally redundant for me, and it doesn't even work properly (even with this update). I'd rather just uninstall it, along with the rest of the Acer bloatware, but that's not possible without acquiring root access.

Update causes problems... Installed 21/9 update and my Acer a200 iconia tablet suddenly developed a mind of its own; rebooting itself mostly, and rather annoyingly when I was in the middle of doing something! 23/9: uninstalled the update and using the factory version again: didn't have any problems with that! 24/9: tablet working properly again, hoorah!

Still force closes settings menu This device was a bargain... now I see why... settings for the ring amongst most other settings cause force closes of the menu... i thought this would be a fix... but it made it worse. Way to go Acer.

Problematic! The unlock ring became laggy after install. And everything else became slow too! Reboot a few times still the same. Uninstall and problem went away. Do not install if you have no problem with your current version.

Unused waste of resources If only we could easily remove this junk when it is not utilized.

Improved with the update A very practical feature. The update has increased the fluidity of the ring. Looks better too !

No bookmarks I had bookmarks on this thing from ICS Browser. I deleted as it wasn't compatible with my JB and now some (2) bookmarks on Acer Ring won't delete. One doesn't show up as a bookmark when I tap on it, and the other I can't tap on it at all. Also, my other bookmarks don't show up. I don't understand the different bookmark accounts and it doesn't show my local bookmarks either (Firefox and Chrome)

Don't... This thing has a mind of its own. I feel like I'm in 77 Shadow Street. I can't play games because it's to laggy. I uninstalled it, but it didn't help. If you get this, your tablet will now have AI. Don't get this!!

Handy Sometimes a nice thing to have, but it operates rather slowly and the animations at a bit choppy after the last update. And before anyone says anything its not a hardware lag, because I'm on an a510 (Tegra 3).

useless adds an extra tap to get to apps already on your screen

Love this app So easy to get what I want quickly

Useful addition I usually think that there is no reason to add anything to stock android, but the ring is nice. I even know of some 3rd party developers that hack it onto non-Acer devices.

Good Its really good i guess

Problematic! Uninstall! Problematic! Caused my A510 to hang every time updated to this version. Uninstalled the update each time!
