Download AcDisplay (Deprecated) apk 1.2.5 free for Android smartphone
Apk file size: 380.0 KB
AcDisplay has moved: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.achep.acdisplay
This update brings a completely new and unique design with a lot of new possibilities. The design is more streamlined and is aimed at giving you the best possible experience!
AcDisplay is a new way of handling notifications in Android. It will let you know about new notifications by showing a minimal, beautiful screen, allowing you to open them directly from the lock screen. And if you want to see what\'s going on, you can simply take your phone out of your pocket to view all the latest notifications, in a similarly pleasing and minimalistic manner.
Q: What Android version is supported?
A: Currently, 4.4+ but i'm working on it.
Q: I have installed this app but can't find Pocket mode. Where's it?
A: It's in my to-do list. Be patient and stay tuned.
Q: How to uninstall it?
A: Go to Settings > Security > Device Administrators and uncheck AcDisplay. You can now uninstall AcDisplay normally.

AChep part of our Personalization and have average installs from 100000 to 500000. Last Update Feb. 19, 2014. Google play rating is 82.9183. Current verison is 1.2.5. Actual size 380.0 KB.
Screen bug keeping phone active for longer than necessary. Screen off animation shown minute or longer after screen turns off indicates to me it hasn't shut off completely after a notification
Works but can be better. On my Galaxy S5 it doesn't open the app that has the notification. All it does is clears it. I would love for this to get fixed. I have a Moto X and I switch back and forth between phones. If this app was as smooth as the Moto X I may stay with my S5. Please fix.
Didn't work It never worked on my gs4. I'd get notifications and it would wake my screen like normal. I never once was able to get this app to work correctly.
Great app. Needs to add a few more features. - notifications doesn't stay in the lockscreen, it'd be great if it could stay even after the screen goes off again..or till we tap/open the notification. - it'll be great if this app could replace the default stock lockscreen - show details/text/info right below the notif icon instead of being up there in the status bar.
Active Display! I kinda envied Motorola and iPhone users because of their notifications. Tried quite a few like DynamicNotifications but it's resource heavy. SlideLock on the other hand is too iOS-ish for my taste.
Wow! This app is amazing on the Moto G! Love the polish of the app! Just a question, on XDA it says that this app displays notifications when you take it out of your pocket...it doesn't! Please please do that :) It would be so awesome then! Breathing notifications too ;)
Great but could improve Coming from the moto x it is hard to reproduce the active notification system with just am app in other devices and this is as good of an attempt as anything else. In some areas it has more features than its moto counterpart, but since it isn't truly interested with the hardware sometimes it doesn't function exactly like the version on the x.
Good but one bug I notice sometimes when I swipe up to a notification to open it, a second screen will appear asking to lock or unlock the screen. Is this supposed to happen? Its awfully annoying to have to swipe up to the notification and then again to unlock the screen. I don't have any lock screen security on in settings.
Does not work After installing the application multiple times, it did not lock the screen nor receive notifications. Screen also remained on homescreen during my tests. The test notification worked to send the notification, but acdisplay did not activate to accept it. Disappointing to see. Galaxy Note 3 running KitKat.
Cool App.. Please include missed call notifications..its a huge let down for this awesome app.
Easy. Clean, minimalist, smooth, and it works as expected. knocked one star because it hiccoughs in a couple places, but next to the other active display clone apps, this one has been the best so far.
It's not bad But I just recently discovered that the Galaxy S4 already has a function like this, allowing you to hover your hand over the screen to glance at notifications when the screen is off.
Excellent App Excellent app. Eagerly awaiting the "pocket" option though, so that use of the proximity sensors are utilized (perhaps even gyro sensors e.g. When picking phone up off of the table etc). Also would love to see it implemented as a persistent lock screen, then it would be 5 stars for sure.
One of my fav app! This is excellent, can't tell you how useful this becomes as your day goes! Amazing work and keep it coming.... Feature request : Double tap to wake up for a locked / off screen.. Just like the feature on LG G2
Quite simply excellent Even though I'm not on an amoled screen this is a killer feature. Wish I had found it much sooner. Can't wait til pocket mode is introduced
The best notification app out there! This is by far the best notification app... Works like a charm on my nexus 7 2012...! Don't have to wake up the device to know if it's an urgent message or a spam email needed to be ignored! Excellent minimalistic design!
Not bad It needs improvement, there's still some bugs which are very annoying and led me to turn it off until it updates. Eg when you swipe away a second swipe action is required to lock ur phone even if that's not your intention.
Amazing Works perfectly as expected sometimes an extra notification appears (thumbs up icon), which doesn't affect usage but can be annoying
amazing app it is a very helpful app but....i have some issues sometimes. like when i swipe up to go to the page, aftr i unlock the fone, it dosent take me to that page. minor bugs which can be fixed.
Good work.. Excellent app Excellent app for Moto G. When Team Moto could not make Active Display App compatible for Moto G, You did it.. Awesome!! Also the app is small in resources and doing (almost) the same work. I have no idea what Active Display App does... but this app does great job. Please try to bring all functionality of Moto's app in it
This app is cool Cool. Yeah. That's the first word came out from my mouth after installing it. But still, this app got a lot things to do to keep up to app like dynamic notification and the other acdisplay. First, add the lockscreen option second please add the sensor option (pocket mode) and this app will be AWESOME!! Keep the good work guys!! XD
pretty good. I'm on the Moto X and I say its very good. I never liked the Active Display on the Moto X cause I don't like how the Active Display is triggered by movement never liked that much. but there's a bug sometimes when you swipe up to read the notification instead of opening the app it clears the notification.
The sensors! Awesome job developer! It looks exactly like the active display on the moto X. Only thing its missing is the active mode. If u can introduce the sensors too! Just an excellent app to give us a glance at our notifications!
Very good Good app but can be improved. Can you let acdisplay set as default lock screen always, i.e. whenever i wake up my phone, i get acdisplay first and then normal lock screen.
Time Saver Best App Ever .. It works superbly on my Nexus 5 ...Just like Moto X feature ..Love it
Pretty good but.... Its really easy and fast to access the notification but for some reason the thumbs ups is always there and I can't get rid of it even when I swipe it...and it would be cool if after the screen goes off without you looking at the notification the led blinks like usual.
Digging it Don't know why I have it set up and it doesn't stay as my standard lock screen it goes back to my default lock screen. Also can't change the wallpaper.
A few minor issues. (revisited) Swiping to dismiss notifications accidently happens too frequently when trying to actually open a notification. And on times when I try to swipe it away it doesn't work and goes back to the timer. Also, sometimes instead of a lock button it just shows a "thumbs up" that won't go away and I usually have to restart my phone to get it back to normal. Found a glitch with the "textra" app where it would repeat the notification over ane over as well. Please try to fix these issues. I love the app a lot!
Brilliant Lightweight and snappy. The app still has some hiccups but it's being frequently updated with new features and bugfixes. Overall a great app that made it's way into my "must have" list.
Amazing I am so happy with this app. You are a great developer and you are quick with updates. If you can make this app an option to replace my lock screen, the same way dynamic notifications takes over the lock screen, I would give you 6 stars if I could. Keep up the awesome stuff
Make an update for lockscren. Please add an update for lockscren pls make it ASAP. It's too good . Better than dynamic notifications nonsense stuff. Pls make an lockscren swiping down update pls sir.
Better than DynamicNotifications... DynamicNotifications (formerly ActiveNotifications) _isn't_ bad and can pretty much do exactly what AcDisplay can do and more... but in that sense DN became overkill for me to set up and use. The setup here is perfectly laid out as-is, uncluttered and the options aren't overwhelming... oh, and it simply works. My original post was going to be "OSHT this thing is great!" but I decided to give it more thought. ?
Showing tips everytime?? I sent an email to the developer a week ago but no reply so I guess there are no supports; The app is pretty good. The problem I have is that every once in a while (sometimes more than once a day) I get the blue tip that asks to swipe down to read the notification. I click on OK but it keeps coming back. It is very annoying. Please fix.
Beautiful. This is a very nice implementation of the concept and much closer to the experience of the Moto X. I love the ring that counts down till it is dismissed. I would like to suggest a larger 'hit area' when swiping down to unlock, some times I swipe too far and it doesn't unlock. Also an exception list of notifications to exclude, for example podcast apps that constantly are pushing new notifications.
Works great on my S3, but not that well on my HTC One M8 As stated, it works great on my S3. Would like to see some more features, and exceptions, etc, but other than that, it's perfect on my S3. On my HTC One M8, it notifies "empty" notifications every now and then where I just have the choice of locking/unlocking the device. Other than that, I love this app! Hoping to see more development in time, but for now, my biggest problem is the "empty" notifictions on my M8. Edit: I see now that the "empty" notifications" show up on my S3 as well. Don't know what triggers it.
Very Useful The app is very useful, helping the user avoid unlocking the device for every notification. Day to day activities are much easier. Only complaint though would be that few apps like LinkedIn are not compatible at least on my nexus 5,and their notifications do not appear on the lock screen.
I didn't work for me. Even if i have activated it on my Moto G 2nd Gen running 4.4.4 .it does not show up..sending test notification works well but not the actual part. I directly get the Lock screen rather than getting the AC display screen . Currently i m using the other AC Display from the play store. I hope u will fix it soon. As i want to try the Deprecated version very badly . i love the way it shows up the notification.
Actually works. So many similar apps, even the one baked into OmniROM, fail in various ways. This one is fast, free, well designed, and works flawlessly.
Great product, works really well for what it does There's not been a super noticeable battery change on my device, though if there was one thing I'd like to see it's the ability to disable if battery is below a certain percentage. Low battery notifications have been waking up my screen and leaving it on until dismissed, sapping out the precious little life remaining. Otherwise, fantastic.
Form meets function. (Awesome yet practical!) This app went from amazing to just pure ungodly! Besides the lack of pocket mode, this app is insanely perfect! A perfect blend of aesthetics and features that can't be beat! This Dev knows what he's doing and certainly deserves our respect. Let's hope he'll add in even more features to it in the days to come... I love this app and hope that people will actually read/comprehend the description so you stop getting bad reviews and get 4~5 star ones. Well, that last part is just wishful thinking though.
This app is not working on note 2 android 4.4.2
. Dont work on Nexus 7 2013 - 4.4.2
Don't work on Moto G - KK 4.4 Stock :( UPD: work after reboot! Perfect application, 5 stars. Yeah.
Great app, but Don't work with sms and calls. Could it be fixed? Because app deserves 5 star. Wait for reply. LG G2 D802
How to edit low-priority notifications? :) ...or please add open wi-fi notification to that list. But the app is absolutely 5-star. Thanks
