Accurate Body Fat Calculator

Apk file size: 2.1 MB

This application uses an advanced formula, that takes into consideration not only your height, weight and waist, but also the hip, neck, wrist and forearm circumference (for women), in order to provide the most accurate body fat estimate you can get without specialized equipment. A person's body fat percentage is the total weight of the person's fat divided by the person's weight and consists of essential body fat and storage body fat. The body fat percentage is a good measure of an individual's fitness level, as it is the only body measurement which directly calculates the particular individual's body composition without regard to the individual's height or weight. The widely-used body mass index (BMI) provides a measure that allows for the comparison of individuals of different heights in terms of their weight. Due to differences in body composition the BMI is not necessarily an accurate indicator of body fat, for example individuals with greater than average muscle mass will have a higher BMI. Many bodybuilding and weightlifting enthusiasts measure their bodyfat percentage using a caliper skinfold test - a professional body fat caliper that measures the thickness of a fold of your skin with its underlying layer of fat. This is the most accurate way to measure your bodyfat, but unless you have the specialized caliper this free app provides the most detailed way to monitor your body composition and the effects of your exercise routine on your body, whether you are a gymrat, powerlifting fan, and bodybuilder or just trying to stay in shape.

So simple and a bit ineffective There are lots of different ways to measure body fat. You cannot measure based on activity. It's not that much effective

Dan Ceglio

Say's I'm at 20% at athletic and 18% on bodybuilder..but I did 2 other diff sites that measured body fat% that required more measurements and they both said I was at 14%...doesn't seem that accurate.. Idk

Naomi Sutton

Subjectivity Your percentage changes depending on the activity level you select. I'm 24% at "normal," 22% at "active" and 19% at "bodybuilder." 24% is "fit" per the ACE chart and "ideal" for a woman my age per the Jackson & Pollock chart, but the app puts it in the could-stand-to-lose-some-weight category. This app can give you a reasonable range of figures for your body fat percentage, but look elsewhere for actual fitness advice.

Trisha Dale

Works Yes the % changes with activity level because measurements remain the same. It thinks you have more muscle. I'm glad this is such little work. Lol

Naresh Negi

It is what it says...accurate I know how one looks like at a certain body fat % and all the other apps in the store were nowhere close to this app in accuracy, moreover I don't see any Advts now....devs, keep up the good work....kudos!

Megan Bromley

Use to be better I used to recommend this app to my clients (I am a personal trainer ) to keep up with their body fat between caliper testing. The last update made it very in accurate. Even on the body builder setting (which should give the lowest) it is registering about 4% high. Please bring back the old version .

savannah milts

Inaccurate It was inaccurate for sure and way off.

Cassie Williams

Accurate results, lots of ads The results are accurate, but there are way too many ads

Alex Schwappach

WTF! ITS A GREAT APP DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SHOULD BUT EVERY 10 SECONDS YOU GET SPAM APP ADVERTISING! very annoying!

Ivana Cvijic

Amazing! This is the best app when it comes to the closest and accurate results.

Toby Ichimaru

Spam ad This app spam ads everytime you input your height information.

Maria Ruiz

Its pretty much useless

Úlfur Reynisson

Really accurate

Zina Deprecated Profile

Too many ads There are more ads in this app than the app functionality itself. The ads just ruin the user experience here, I hate opening this app.

Jerimiah Young

Not even close Thinks I'm double my actual percentage

Andrew Guzsela

It works well I'm an athlete aww yeah

Corry Bassett

Not bad Fairly accurate.

John Wilnoty III

I can only hope :-) I don't know if this is actually accurate or not, but I'm loving the progress I'm seeing! If nothing else it keeps your last measurements on so you can see them before you change them, but you may have to check the fitness level if you're a bodybuilder, etc.

Ken Taylor

Y I hope you like push ads. Pushes ads on to your notification bar

reyeztak

Good app The app ia good, but will never be as accurate as people want. The best way to get body fat is still by calipers, but this is still helpful to see if my bodyfat is getting lower or not.

Bob Fleming

Inaccurate I can tell you as a trainee personal trainer, it's completely wrong!!! I'm about 23-24% bf after a mass bulk, this claims I am 18%, which trust me, visually is a massive difference!!! Don't bother with it.

Orlando Corp

Great portable option App it is good BUT it was so important the option of remove ads

A Google User

If your trainer this is a must have app This app is accurate if you are measuring correctly. It would be great if they added the BMR along with how many pounds are muscle and fat.

Joe Labaki

Great app The most accurate yet

A Google User

Way off! The results are way off compared to the doctor's and trainer's results.

A Google User

No stars if I could It dose not take in to account hips or arms like is claimed

A Google User

east and accurate does what it should !

A Google User

great does what it says

Michael Bubnov

Ads Lot of ads eating battery fast and annoying by popups

Nicole C

Called me obese when you can feel my ribs in an unhealthy way at 15bls lighter than I am

T.D. Genesis

Lame I weigh 125 and am 67 inches tall. It says I should lose weight. Any more and I will be a frigging stick!

Ryan Osborne

Only the Navy Tape method, and the result is buried between a ton of ads
