Humans are curious creatures. We spend so much of our time talking about nothing, just to be talking about something. But when we start to talk about interesting things - like morality, the future, or human behaviour - our eyes light up. We’re engaged and connected, interested and interesting. Sparks fly, the socially awkward penguin waddles right out of the room, and we end up talking about all sorts of interesting things for hours on end.

Introducing A Curious Question - it’s an app that kick-starts a conversation to an immediately curious place. There’s more than 300 genuinely interesting questions, all designed to make people do that sideways things with their head, where they furrow their brow in contemplation and go ‘hmmm’.

They’re particularly good questions to ask around the dinner table, or when you’re on a date to create real chemistry and connection.

A wonderful conversation starter I downloaded this before a date so we'd have some things to discuss to get to know each other, instead of the usual boring topics. As soon as I whipped out this app, trivial small talk and niceties turned to genuine chemistry and interest. We jumped from question to question, losing track of time and only came to our senses hours later with a real connection and heads buzzing full of ideas. I'd reccommend this to anyone for making new friends or stimulating great conversations with old ones.

Good app I think being able to categorize the questions, being able to set a marker to the farthest question you have made it to, and/or have the option to have the question order be random would make the app five stars. Having updates with more questions would be nice too.

Thoughtful A great little app to ponder over on my commute to work or perfect to spark up an interesting conversation with friends colleagues and clients

Lacklustre questions So so questions. Can be used, but would be better if could be adapted or categorized depending on who you are meeting

Andrew Marks

Delightful! Used this app to get past the typical social niceties at a dinner party and stimulate some serious conversation. A lot of fun!

this is aewsome Didn't know what to expect but this app has saved my social life so many times already. Worth downloading!

Well.... Too expensive, since anyone with a smartphone could drag some questions off the internet. Also, this app is premised on the people you talk to being interested in these questions. Believe me, I work alongside people who thrive on the most boring and dull superficial rubbish anyone could ever dream up.

Lame questions. Imo really lame questions.

-- Only 20 "free" Questions, -most of them aren't even good, maybe for People with an IQ way less than average... - App is Widescreen so it looks dumb when you use it. Would be better if it was Portrait-oriented with an Ad-Banner on the bottom.
