Keith Thats right you heard right the Motorola Droid X has been rooted. But you don’t get the entire root experience. What do I mean you ask? Well you cant put on any custom roms because of the Encrypted Bootloader. But you can enjoy all the extra little Root options. If you are looking how to achieve this follow the instructions below.
