The Epic 4G May Arrive by August 20th.  As reported by Android Police and BGR There seem to be a number of signs pointing towards this being a very reliable rumor.

Add in an article from the New York Times (Advertising section) stating that all next week G4 TV will be renamed 4G TV.  ‘ “We think it has some unique abilities to break through the clutter in the marketplace and help Sprint promote its service,” Neal Tiles, the president of G4, said in a telephone interview. conducted by Brian Stelter of the New York Times.  And it appears that an official announcement could come at any point throughout the week.  I personally believe that it is a brilliant move on the part of Sprint seeing as the Epic 4G as well as the entire Galaxy S line of phones are multimedia and gaming powerhouses.  Taking aim at the audience of G4 and reportedly focusing on two specific shows Attack of the Show and X-Play.  If that is the case then Sprint has absolutely nailed the targeted audience of the phone.  I believe Samsung should be thrilled to finally have an all-out media blitz for a Galaxy S phone here in the United States after the lackluster promotions by both T-Mobile and AT&T for their Galaxy S phone launches.  Below is the temporary 4G logo.

I recently had the opportunity to see two of the other Samsung Galaxy S phones, AT&T’s Captivate and T-Mobile’s Vibrant, and was absolutely amazed with the quality of the screens.  It is really one of the most incredible screens of any size that I’ve ever seen.  Adding in the keyboard, front-facing camera, and the 4G and I am sold.  I think this is an exciting phone, and despite what people have said about the TouchWiz 3.0 user interface I did not find it to be all that poor in design, but admittedly I did not spend a great deal of time seeing all the features.  I hope to be able to buy this phone upon release and will certainly give it a full and detailed review.
