The closer we get to the end of the year. We find out theres another Android tablet on the way. Like the Notion INK, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Toshiba Tablet. This Archos tablet seems to be under the radar. The reason I say that is if you look at the specs on this device you can legitimize it as a contender in the tablet race.

One thing that makes me look at it side ways is that it doesn’t have the Android Market app it has AppsLib. Don’t know why but they say you get a large selection of Android apps. Another great feature on this device is the ability to stream your music, movies, and photos from you computer. Using the UPnP and Samba protocols. Another nice mention is that its only $2998GB, $249 16GB, and due for release this fall. That maybe cheaper considering the competition.  I have a question will it bother you by it not having the Android Market on it? Check this video.

For those of you who don’t know why the birds are angry its because the pigs have stolen their eggs. So you go through the game to eliminate every pig for your eggs. Funny story but the game in its self is an addictive game. Level after level the game gets harder and harder. Meaning more strategy as the game progresses. But let me remind some of you that this is beta and to report any bugs to the developer so that we can get the final release without any bugs. Another thing to keep in mind is that this works on Android 1.6 and higher. So make sure you go to the Android Market and download this app. Also check out this video on it.

If your on Vodafone and have been looking to pick up one of these new fancy tablets. Well the Galaxy Tab might just be for you. The Galaxy Tab is due in October. No pricing has been set yet.

Samsung GALAXY Tab provides a galaxy of possibilities on the go

Berlin, Germany, September 2nd, 2010 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in mobile technology, and Vodafone, one of the world’s largest mobile communications companies by revenue, today announced the launch of the Samsung GALAXY Tab (Model: GT-P1000). The GALAXY Tab will start selling in October in the majority of Vodafone’s European markets and through several partner networks, as well as in a number of other Vodafone markets worldwide.

Here is the Galaxy Tablet getting hands on review in Israel. From the picture it looks like its running 2.2. The main thing that sticks out to me is the sticker that says Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA. This can only mean that when it hits the US that Sprint or Verizon may get it. I’m banking on Sprint because Verizon was said to be working on a tablet with HTC. To me this Tablet will be great based off what the Galaxy S phones are doing. Samsung can hit a home run if they play their cards right. The users of the tablet said the phone was snappy, had no problem with flash, and was a Ipad contender. If you ask me we have a few Android tablets that’ll be contenders if not better. So I guess this tablet will go around the world before the US gets it but we will be ready when it does.

Just like the HTC Evo the Samsung Epic has been rooted. This was done by the guys over at SDX Developers. They explain the process and how it works.

“This is a temporary patch to guarantee permanent root. Once custom kernels are released with root incorporated, this patch won’t be required anymore.
For now, this patch will execute on every boot ensuring the root environment is correctly setup”

This may scare people from trying this until a better way to gain root is succeeded. For all the brave one’s heres the link to have a try at it.

An unknown HTC Android device that looks very similar to the Evo 4G looks to be on it’s way to Verizon.  Now the only thing to ask is what’s not to love about this thing?
