Why did you remove trainers? I am so upset right now. I had the cute little dog as my trainer this whole time and now with two weeks left, Pumpkin is gone. I loved the little play on words and looked forward to them before my training.

Good training program; GPS in app is bad The training program associated is a good build up training system with adequate recovery with challenging runs. GPS is getting worse with updates. Maps show good tracking but averages .25 miles over estimated other GPS running programs on the same phone. It averages .40 miles from actual and my GPS enabled watch....which while making someone feel they are advancing quickly can lead to false expectations come race time. Most recent update makes the app look just like the c25k app which is fine.

Good training plan, bad app The training plan is good and the app is pretty, but the times are way jacked up. Says I average 3:47 mile pace on my runs....I'm not THAT fast, I actually average like 7:20. Then it says walking pace is 25 min/mile. Make the app more than a written training plan and stopwatch for a better score.

Not as good as the Couch to 5k It is a pretty solid trainer. I miss the zombie coach, otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.

The training plan is fantastic, however the GPS is the absolute WORST. It always over estimates my runs by at least 2kms. I have to use this simultaneously with Endomondo to get an accurate reading of distance and pace. I've tried using it on both high accuracy (GPS + WiFi + GSM) and GPS only - same results every time while Endomondo manages to give an accurate reading. If the GPS were accurate on this, I'd rate it 5 stars.

Easy to follow but challenging workouts If you are looking for longer runs or longers intervals of sprinting this is ideal for you. No walking only jogging periods between running rounds.

Almost there, but still a great training plan Agree with the issues below - better explanations of paces (maybe examples of mph rates for each pace?) And the audio not increasing after notifications is really annoying. Would love a 2 or 5 minute warning option to help motivate me through the last part of the workout!

Doesn't differentiate run and walk paces I loved C25K and progressed to this one. My only reservation is that this app doesn't differentiate between the warm-up/ cool down walk and the actual workout when totalling your distance and pace in the workout summary. Thus, the mile pace created in the log is actually much slower than my actual mile pace, which defeats the purpose of tracking the info. C25K included both in the workout log, which was very helpful.

GPS unreliable After completing C25k I paid for this. Turns out the GPS is even worse. I have to turn the app on about 30 minutes to an hour before I run as it seems the GPS takes ages to locate me. No similar problems with other apps or the C25k. Save your money

Samsung galaxy 4 This is one of my favourite apps. Im running 8kms now and 2 weeks off finishing the couch to 10km. I weigh over 100kgs so those who u who dont think they can do it should give it a go, it does work. I would give 5 stars however my volume changes when I receive notifications and sometimes I cant hear music very well and it can throw u off a run. Also other apps offer average pace recorded minute by minute rather than overall. Gps has gotten alot more accurate though. Calories burnt would also be gr8. :)

Great app Great app, it has definitely helped me improve my 5k times as well as get me into great shape for a 10k. The only thing stopping me from 5 stars is if it would calculate the amount of calories burned. Other then that, wonderful app and I definitely recommend. Never had any issues on my HTC Incredible2

Edit: Dropped it down to 3 stars because I just realized there's no free run log option in this one. Very disappointed by what this app is lacking. Awesome app but BRING BACK THE ZOMBIE TRAINER!

AR I love the "Couch to 5k". It turned out to be exactly what I needed to do to regain my running confidence. I'm nearly 100 lbs more than when I was active before, so finding something that worked for me felt fantastic! I enjoyed several features: downloading my music, the gps, the voice encouraging me along, the ability to share it all with my friends/facebook and get extra tips. Now, after having completed a 5k and a 5k trail race, I'm moving to the "5k to 10k" program... looking for even more success!

Great concept- needs some tweaks A separate distance measure for each speed would help me determine if I'm adjusting my speed correctly. I can't tell if I'm getting faster on my tempo runs if they're lumped in with the jog and steady run, for instance. Also, a maintenance schedule for after I've finished the program would be really helpful. Otherwise, this program has worked wonders for me! Almost ready for my first 10K next month!

Music and Facebook Issue... :( Loved Couch-To-5K... This App has issues with the music playing at a reduced volume and for some reason the Facebook posting is crap compared to the previous App... Come on guys, you can do better... {2 stars until you fix the issues}

Awesome App After completeing the C25k I debated about buying this app because of all the negative reviews I read. However I am very happy that I did. This app has worked for me with absolutely no problems. My running is getting better and better with this program. I would highly recommend this as a training tool!

if you change/upgrade phones you lose EVERYTHING I was enjoying this app, but upgraded phones and because I didn't want to share my workouts on FB I lost everything. I tried e-mailing with the company several times but was told that even if I would have uploaded to FB I would have had to manually imput my previous times/results and basically I was SOL because I didn't. I used the rundouble app that is also 5 to 10 k and everything transferred so I no longer use this one.

Not well planned The workout schedule does not match any of the training plans suggested on the website. The plans have you doing 5 funs a week, the app only does 3. Also the plans go by distance but the app only focuses on increasing the time. So, which one do I follow. Couple of other runners I've talked to are saying the plans on the site are a better progression. Couch to 5K was great but this one is not consistent with any of the sites own plans.

The app is great! Until your phone crashes and you can't manually check off the dates you have completed. Not awesome.

One thing missing to make it great This app makes it easy to achieve your 10 k goals. However, I would suggest adding a pedometer feature to this app for people like me who prefer to run indoors in the winter, or want to avoid the extra battery drain associated with using the smartphone's GPS.

Good with a glitch I am one for uploading my runs to Facebook and just recently it stopped letting me do it. It says error try again later. I've tried again later all day...please fix! Otherwise I love this app.

Pace/distance incorrect Am I the only one that noticed the pace and distance are way off?? I did week 1 day 1 this morning and it timed my two 5 min walks as being longer & faster than my actual run, for one. For two, it had my pace at 28 mpm! Before this, I used the Map my Run app so I know approximately what my pace is and it is NOT 28 mpm! lol

GPS is off. I like the program, but the GPS is way off. I don't rely on this app to tell me my distance ran. If I did, I would be disheartened.

Overall not bad I feel like there needs to be more time notices and voice coaching. I get bored easily when I run and knowing the time I've spent and how long is left helps me to keep going. Every 3 to 5 minutes would be good.

Really easy to use. Doesn't explain itself sometimes with terms like 'tempo run' (hence 4 stars) but you can do easy internet research on this. This app has got me to 10k and beyond before and I am part way through my second 5 to 10k after a break. I can therefore vouch for it being successful.

I like it! This has been a great help to get back in shape! I started your with the couch to 5K and now using the 5K to 10K. I've had a couple glitches with the GPS but no big deal. The idea is to get in shape and its well worth the 2 bucks compared to hundreds a year for a gym membership. Good app!

GPS not good I have to run my endomondo app at the same time to get my distance. This app here does not track well at all. Even after the most recent update. Didn't have the same issues with the C25K app.

Great app!! Love this app enjoyed following it. But the GPS is useless and I never got a try reflection of what distance I ran. Also in the middle of the 8 min interval runs was a 20minute constant run....surely that shud be at the end of wk6! !!

Awesome except for GPS. Overall, I really like this app. The structure of the program, the audio cues, and the in-app music player really work for me. The big downer is that the GPS won't work on its own. I had the same problem with the Couch to 5k app and could usually fox it by using RunKeeper simultaneously. Now I wear a Garmin watch and just enter the distance manually. It would be really nice, though, if the app could break everything down by segment.

Update has ruined it Ever since the update which made it look more like the Couch 2 5k app it no longer tracks distance or pace accurately. So just use this as a training plan with a more accurate GPS app running in the background.

GPS not working the ux is OK, but if I have to track the distance and pace with an additional app... what do I have this one for? I already have another app to set intervals, + MyTracks to track distance and pace, so unless Active will release a fix soon, I'm going remove 5to10k

GPS awful GPS used to be ok when I first installed this. Now useless. I have to track my distance using my fitbit as this is not accurate - it is knocking km off my distance. Hardly encouraging!

Decent 10k training app for beginner. A good app but the GPS has never tracked my runs properly so far. And a personal one but it would be good to be able to have the option to be told how long or far you have run perhaps every 5 or 10 minutes, and how long to go but that's just me. Decent app though.

GPS is not accurate I love the plan but the GPS constantly cuts in and out and leaves me with wildly inaccurate data. It would be nice to have an audible warning when the GPS cuts out so I know to pause and restart my location settings. Ideally, the GPS would just work.

I went from Couch to 5K straight into 5k to 10k. I absolute love these programs. I was a novice when I started, and now I feel like I can run with the best of them. The GPS can be slightly off wth the mileage, but the app is perfect other than that.

I was SO not "a runner".... Running has never come naturally to me, so having nothing to lose, I started C25K... I wondered if I would ever be able to run 3 consecutive minutes without dying! The app and training program are great. I started 5K210k two weeks ago and am consistently seeing gains... Never would have thought I could run 20/30 minutes... So on to the next goal!! Only withheld one star because syncing a playlist with my android has not worked out. I'd love a Pandora or Prime link in addition or in lieu of.. Thanks!

Can't register on Android unless I hit a back arrow 553 times Tried to register on my phone and create an account. Entered name, email address etc. Then I encountered the horrible "enter your birthday". It defaults to a calendar with current month. Only way to get to the middle of 1970 is to hit the back arrow 553 times. Ridiculdous. I gave up then tried just using current year. The app informed me that I must be 13 years old. That would require 156 back taps. No thank you. Well, I originally gave this a single star; but I was able to register from a laptop.

Feeling the challenge, seeing the growth Never was a runner. Many years of sedentary office lifestyle. Just completed Couch 2 5k last week. Did a 6km mud run on the weekend. Started 5 2 10k this week. Already impressed at how the game is upped from the 5k and how much more I am already pushing myself, but in a manageable way. Great app.

Keep on running I started off my running training with the couch to 5k app. Like the C25K app, this app has a set three runs per week. I found it easy to stick to the schedule and the level of training ramps up at a reasonable rate. I have had no injuries during my training. I'm 47 yrs old so no youngster, but am please with my efforts so far. If you can fit 3 runs in per week, and want to improve your fitness at a steady rate, give this app a go.

Lovin' the programme If you've mastered the 5K the workouts probably start off a bit easier than you'd like. I've added an additional 10min of running to each rather than skip ahead. If you're fresh off the #C25k programme you're going to love the natural progression. No intimidating changes here. #5K210K is a five-star purchase in my books.

Does the trick for non-runners Good for setting a reasonable training pace for the non-runner to pursue conventional endurance conditioning. Fans of Brian MacKenzie may not be fulfilled, but it's a good app to get most of us from Saturday 5k to Saturday 10k.

Had to reply After reading a previous review, I had to reply. When the birthday field is required to log in, the current month pops. All you have to do is tap on the year above and select any year you would like to go to; then choosing a birthday is only a few taps away.
