AgileBits part of our Productivity and have average installs from 1000000 to 5000000. Last Update Aug. 25, 2016. Google play rating is 85.2485. Current verison is 6.4. Actual size 10.0 MB.
Great app, but not on par with iOS counterpart... Love this app, but feels lacking compared to the iOS version. Missing Android Wear support, TOTP support, search is not great. Giving it 3 stars until Android is treated like a first class citizen.
excelent so far i like it earlier in time i gave it 3 stars because when i bought it and when i downloaded it in another rom i still got the trial version. well the problem wasnt the app itselft it was that i had twocgoogle accounts. i bought it woth my aecundary account but the app was trying to authenticate with the primary account. so deleted the other account and left only the one which i bought the app wirh and problem solved. so... so far i love it
Good, could be better Would be perfect if not for the annoying search. It takes 4 navigation key presses from login to get to the search function!! All I want to do is find a password! Makes no sense at all.
Missing some key features I can't create custom categories and custom fields. This should be one of if not the best password managing apps available, instead you guys cut out some of the most essential features. I'm giving it 2 stars bcoz I believe you guys could do a better job than this. Your iOS version is better, why cut back on Android?
The best Quite simply, the best app for securely storing and retrieving login account information. It takes a little getting used to. But once you do, it becomes a trivial task to then add all of your numerous accounts to 1password. You can securely store a lot of other significant information. And you can attach any number of pertinent files per entry. And, I love that it integrates with Dropbox, making your vault available anywhere. Highly recommended.
Very disappointing. To make use of any automated form filling on the phone, you are forced to use the 1password keyboard, which is a problem for those of us who use Swiftkey, or other keyboard like it. Users need to either stick with the anemic and barely functional 1password keyboard, or switch back and forth. Why the developers don't make a browser plugin or plugins for popular keyboards like Swiftkey, is beyond me, but they lost my business for both PC and Android.
Apple Watch support, but no Android Wear?!? Why does the iOS version support the Apple Watch, without it being released yet, and the Android version is still lacking Android Wear support? Happy with One Time Password Support! But the addition of an 1Browser button would be good too. Would love this to match the iOS version of the app, with the option to use the browser in the app. I do like the fact that this isn't simply a clone of the iOS app, and feels like an app designed for Android. Material design support would be another plus.
Useless after one month you can't create passwords anymore, even if you already paid for the iOS and Mac versions. I want to create more log ins
Poor apps Its not able to work with my bank account. It automatic fiils wrong fields. Ill keep using my last pass
Bought Mac app and have to pay for this too? I contacted support about this and got no reply back. The *demo* has expired so the android app is read-only. Top quality support!... Turns out you have to pay for this app too even though this app has a super poor user experience. Other people have also pointed out that it takes 3 clicks to be able to search for passwords.
Works well, could be prettier Love the app, aesthetically I've seen much more modern looking apps, but functionally this is tops.
No Google Drive Sync?!? I'm synching my passwords on my Mac with Google Drive. And, wouldn't it suggest itself to support GDrive on this OS? I mean, THIS. IS. ANDROOIID!!!
Does what it should, but... can you please allow pasting of the master password? I agree that this sounds silly but there is the valid use case where the password comes from another password manager and is simply too 'secure' to type.
Best cross platform support password manager. This app should also be sold as an anxiety cure. It has saved me so many hassles with remembering what log in information goes with what account. This app is a must have!
Love the app Works great on note 3 but not as great as it works on iOS. But overall does the job well and it's super easy to use.
NO Limited functionality. Fails at window rotation - can only type on vertical, not horizontal keyboard.. Can't use with 2 step authentication / Authenticator. While I can read gmail, it has not displayed the calendar after selecting the calendar tab. Samsung G3 android 4.4.2 Android Multiwindow in general is also very limited, and applies for most apps not just this one
PIN Lock option not working Whenever I quit the app from task manager, it requires me to input the Master Password every time. I have this app on iOS yet when I close the app from the iOS Multitask it allows me to input PIN. This is despite the fact that I have enabled PIN on exit. Please fix this as it would make using the app a lot easier/faster. Thanks guys!
Useful app.... Don't need to remember anything.but a paid app.
Using 1Password on all my devices. Helps me to keep all my login details secure and easily accessible across all my devices. Synchronisation works quickly across platforms using Dropbox.
The best I have used for years and it never disappoints. Only lost a star for not having a Blackberry app. Finally, Dashlane app is also good for passwords - and free!
Missing fingerprint authentication on android Great app, nice interface, easy to use. Not 5 stars at it is missing fingerprint authentication..I need one that has it!!!
Best Password App I have been using this app since it first came Mac OSX and iPhone. Now on Android I can use it on all my devices. Awesome app!!
Update Please update the app so it will sync with iCloud
No point Does not work with any apps...So you are hosed.... No point in a mobile device
Great but problem Great password manager. Simple and easier to use versus Keeper. I've updated info on my Mac but it won't sync to my Note 4. Any solution?
Why charge for editing after 30 days while it is free for iOS Why charge for editing after 30 days while it is free for iOS?
Try it! Great for remembering all those passwords!
Fingerprint support? When would this app support fingerprint scanner for Samsung Galaxy S6 edge?
Only negative, many steps required to sync between a Mac and am android device
The must-have app!
Legacy versions had password generation Unlike the new free version. I'm baffled why it's not integrated any more. Needs saving to Google Drive. Too many steps to get to your pw. Needs Chrome integration.
Awesome App! What can I say, it's the best from the lot and worth every single cent. However it could use some material design loving so it won't look outdated.
Support very helpful Highly recommend 1Password
Incredible! Loving the new keyboard. The upgrades to this app have been outstanding
Great app Very useful app
Improvement ideas Nice app, stores passwords safely and okay. But that's it - just okay. The reason for this is the fact that it's not connected to any other apps, as PC version does. Is it possible to make auto-filling in Chrome or other browsers?
add please add samsung s5/s6 fingerprint scaner
Keyboard is an awesome idea, but... Please add button to switch back to original keyboard.
Feature Rich, but not userfriendly i. e. Why do I have to open a separate edit window to add notes, while attachments can be dropped right in there. And how on earth did you come up with "Designation" as a field name in the section you call Web form detail?? These are just examples on confusing GUI design.
Great app, but not on par with iOS counterpart... Love this app, but feels lacking compared to the iOS version. Mac WiFi won't work for Andriod phone. I already bought this app for my iMac and iPhone. Now They want me to spend another $10 just so this app will sync with others. Plus can't edit existing PW's until I "upgrade", scam..
Good app, but letdown after iOS version I became a convert last year on the iPhone and iPad and later on my Macbook. Generally speaking, I love this app, but a couple of issues keep me from giving a better review: for one, I was disappointed to learn that, after paying for the premium features on my phone app, those features didn't carry over to the tablet version. That should have been clearer to users up front; $6.99 per device isn't much in the grand scheme of things, but it would have been nice to know that beforehand. That left a bad taste in my mouth. That said, the interface isn't as polished as the one on the platform I migrated from, or even the Windows and Mac versions I use, but it's okay. The pricing issue cost them a star, but I would still recommend the app, just want to let people know up front so that there are no surprises.
Great on iOS, mediocre on Android There have been a lot of comments on this already, but it should be repeated: AgileBits is an amazing company, and they do great work, but their method of getting back to customers by requiring logins and votes only scratches the surface of what its userbase would be willing to pay for. 1Password is great on Apple devices, but Android looks as if it were still stuck in Jelly Bean. Integration is lackluster, and password protection is medieval. Don't buy it here. Save your money.
Great app, but won't reliably sync Absolutely love this app for the most part. It's hands down the best password manager on OS X and its nice to have quite a useful Android counterpart to it as well. That said, the syncing is incredibly unreliable- I've had it connected to WiFi all day and have had to restart the sync about 20 times just to get all ~140 passwords synced up. It would be really nice if it didn't use a keyboard to auto fill and instead detected login fields in apps. Overall though, love it! Keep up the good work and updates!
Great functionality The app does what it's intended pretty well. The new features such as the keyboard should be improved though. Clicking the lock icon on it should check if I use a passcode when the app is still in memory and ask for it instead the master password. Also, you should improve the design. Material Design is A MUST. I also don't want my lists to flash and refresh a couple of times while it is synching with the local vault.
Best password management app, hands down. This app is amazing. Agilbits is amazing. 1Password is life; life liberated and free of having to remember difficult passwords. The added benefit is their customer service is spectacular as well.
Miserably non-user-friendly The user experience of this app is bad enough that it would make you want to not use a password manager at all. Noticeably sub-par than the iOS counterpart which is better designed.
Should be called 1/2 Password For the same price as it's iOS counterpart it's a complete joke. The android version feels like they paid the lowest cost outsourced dev shop to do the bare minimum and then promptly forgot about it. I suggest they rename it 1/2 Password until they bring this version in-line with their other products.
Password Organizer Very nice and great Apps for storing passwords. The Master Key input from start, should have Keypad for easy enter key.
Would be nice to be able to view notes on the homepage without needing to click view notes. Ex: when you click a log in, your notes appear on that main page, without needing to click view notes
not included in $69.99 Mac/PC bundle I purchased the most complete bundle off AgileBits website (Windows / Mac), and saw that the Android app was free - so it was easy to assume that owning a paid license would unlock the premium features. Apparently, this isn't the case. They want an additional $19.99 to unlock full features on the mobile app. That's nearly $100.00 for a full-features password manager that syncs across platforms! I also can't get the Android app to work with any logins on apps that don't work through a mobile browser ... even those that use hooks into web APIs for their interface. Kind of disappointed ... maybe they'll re-evaluate their pricing plan and develop the android app further at some point.
Mac/iOS versions are better Installed this as a sidekick for Mac and iOS apps. First of all, Wi-Fi sync is not supported, only Dropbox or manual file copying. Second, the UI is fiddly. Takes 3 taps to get to search (the most important feature of the app, arguably).
Great app but please add an option to use fingerprint scanner in samsung devices that have fingerprint scanner
Great app !! I love 1passwod app and how it easy and safe to use it on other apps without remembering any password. it always with me, Mobile or desktop, I but this app, and i never regret for it :)
Great app A well designed password manager. You have passwords you need to remember, this is a great option.
Awesome but need to pay after 30 days Really worth the 10$!!
Amazing App I want to ask you about fingerprint for note 4 why you don't let us using it as password like iPhone 5S. I would like to use my fingerprint to open 1Password. Its much better than types a Password or Pin number. Thanks. Just update I asked for fingerprint on Note 4. If there is new update bring it to android let me know. I send you msg you didn't reply to me
It's ok Needs finger print locking, please integrate Samsung touch and Android m finger print
As stated by others: "Great app, but not on par with iOS counterpart... Love this app, but feels lacking compared to the iOS version."
Invaluable This has become the app I cannot live without
Not worth it! Upgrade unreasonably expensive compared to ios version
Needs Google drive sync support I keep my password file in Google drive; this should be able to easily sync to that.
This is great! I am now able to put every thing in one place I love the auto sync and the UI is by far the best I have seen on any similar app. 5 stars!
Any Status Update on the System-wide Support? I've NEVER been able to create new random passwords and add new accounts to my vault of credentials on my SmartPhone, not to talk of creating from other apps! This process should be much simpler with ability to always login with a pin instead of master password, there should be a springboard widget or better yet, like LastPass formerly did, have a floating widget to directly interact with the vault and the underlying app...
Pleased to see the pace of development picking up for Android which I hope will continue. 5 stars once there's OPVault, multiple vault support and Android Wear integration.
Really good app Like it alot! But I agree with friends. Business model is a pain. Do you have PC Or Mac? I phone or Android. Most friends can't choose. Don't know the future. Pc at work and Mac at home or the other way around. Some friends even have Linux on top of it to consider. They like me got a headec of thinking . I did buy. But my friends had a beer insted. =)
Finally material design and fingerprint support! Makes this app awesome again! Only missing Opvault.
1password is a God send!!! I'm the type of person who forgets passwords all the time so this app was like a gift from Heaven. I literally use this everyday and couldn't be happier!!
App is awesome, and improving quickly. OPVault Support, add TOTP with QR code reader within app, Android Wear Support, Google Drive syncing for all OSes, and link Android apps and logins together.
Getting there! Finally I can recommend this App! Redesign + Searching in all fields make for a completely new experience. Please keep up the good work!
Love the improvements Getting better and better, they really listen to suggestions. Keep up the great work!
Crashes on WiFi sync The WiFi sync crashes the application on both of our Nexus 5 phones and Pixel C. The password info is now stale and not useful on the mobile.
Love it... Love the app but please please please add support for Google Drive. Will jump ship to another app without it. The autofill feature needs work as well, switching keyboards is too cumbersome.
Great improvement, beautiful icons The new APP is much better than the original one, but it's still missing features. Auto fill option is a good addition, but I don't like that you need to change your keyboard to use it. And if I don't want to use the auto fill with the keyboard, I have to jump between apps to copy and paste. This can be fixed by adding a floating window. You also need to improve space using, there's too much empty space everywhere. At last, fingerprint login doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S6.
Good job guys adding the search on front screen! Now my last wish is sync with Dropbox ;)
Very comfortable ti store secret all password in one place. This Apps i'm strongly recommend to every body especially IT guy.
At last! The developers have finally pushed out the new version with fingerprint authentication and an updated UI. It's glorious. For anyone looking for an -excellent- password manager, this is it.
Great App Thanks for making my life easier.
Still missing quick search How about an easy access to a search to all password from the favorites page instead of having to go through 5 steps....
Thumbs up for making search available everywhere. Back button should go to the first screen if I have selected another drawer item, not exit the app. Very unintuitive since all other apps behave differently.
Fingerprint Support Any chance of getting fingerprint support available on Note 5?
Very handy Love the new support for fingerprint unlock, really speeds up access. I find 1Password to be indispensable, and highly recommend it to colleagues.
Invaluable The only truly invaluable app on my phone. The new search-from-anywhere feature in v6.1 is a HUGE timesaver.
Finally they fixed search!
Nice Amazing app. It helps me to remember all my passwords
Love it Only thing missing is finger print integration
The Best! The best password manager ever!
Material Design ? I have been a longtime user of 1Password on Mac. However, I always felt that the Android app was not up to par, design-wise. The new 6.0 update seems to have solved that issue.
A huge mess Bought 1Password for Mac today and decided to try to sync my new vault with my Android phone via this app. What a disaster: wi-fi sync simply doesn't work no matter what I do, and folder sync is impossible due to the fact that 1Password for Android (v.4) doesn't recognize the .opvault files created by 1Password for Mac (v.6). Therefore, this app is useless. Agile Bits need to hurry up and give Android users a little more attention. UPDATE: App has been updated to v.6 and still no support for .opvault files.
Almost perfect, but! I would really like it if 1Password could make an integration for other android keyboards so are free to use whatever keyboard we want. Fleksy and SwiftKey are one of the most common.
The new update is in improvement but it's still quite lacking for a major release. It looks prettier but the clunky keyboard solution is still there, and the messy and confusing constant Master Password prompts even when you've configured a PIN is also still there. Again, the update looks nicer but mostly it's still a bit of a swing and a miss.
Still no Google Drive sync? Are you serious? Not to mention the "automatic filling" is still lightyears behind lastpass and dashlane. I don't want to use your keyboard, and having to switch to it whenever there's a password input is an unbelievable nuisance. Also, none of my apps are recognized for my logins. I always have to browse manually. Why is it lastpass can do this so well but 1Password fails so hard? Material design is great but I'd much rather have a functional app with competitive, useful features.
Great Update I've tried the others and had used Roboform extensively but I've found 1Password to be the easiest to use on all my various cross-platform devices. I also prefer the security of having my password vault hosted locally on my Dropbox account. The fingerprint addition is working great on my Nexus 6P although I had to uninstall & reinstall to get the feature to show up.
Greg work on latest release, still missing features The recent update is great but your Android app is still missing multiple vault support. This this a critical feature for me so only 3 stars until it comes. Nexus Imprint support is great though.
Fantastic App, Small Improvements Great app - however as a premium android user, we should have access to creating TOTP's within the Android app itself, rather than having to purchase a companion app (Mac, Windows). As I understand it, the IOS app already has this functionality. Auto capitalisation of sentences would also be a great addition for note taking. A simple but effective change that would put you on par with other note taking apps. This shouldn't have been overlooked in 2016.
Good app, but bad sync The new version (6.0.1) does not allow for dropbox sync anymore, although it used to with version 4… such a shame! Must uninstall because of this.
Using for Years I use 1Password on every device I own. Even at work, where I'm not allowed to install the Chrome plugin, I have access to my passwords via Dropbox.
Not useful Automatically filling and keyboard filling not working.
Great customer service :) Full refund, very helpful and polite! I'll be back when the fingerprint unlock works on scanners other than the nexus scanner and when you can sync with cloud services other than Dropbox.
I DIDNT KNOW THIS WAS FREEMIUM Wtf 1password, I used to be able to add new passwords anytime. Now I have to pay $10 for something that was unconditionally free.
App redesign is flawless Good hard-encryption in an easy to sync and easy to use wrapper. I have had 1 password Android/Mac/PC for a few years, and done a serious enquiry into its process and vulnerability, and am satisfied with continuing to use it. Short of the risk of a developer installed backdoor the crypto on this is solid. I have purchased this app for family members for Christmas to protect them from their 'Pa$$word' overuse. The app is simple enough for them to use daily (even if the initial setup can take a while)
Thank you for adding fingerprint support! I will change my review to 5 stars under two conditions. 1. A better solution to information filling than switching keyboards and holding the icon. 2. When in an internet browser app, detect the website! Don't try to fill in a chrome password/login because that is only needed maybe 1% of the time. Most of our logins are for websites.
The latest install Material Design update really brings Android-native polish to an already great app. I'm a very long time user of 1Passsword, starting on an Apple iMac, migrating to an Apple Macbook Air, a half dozen iPhones, and now on both Android mobile and Windows. It's a great application, with very good, earnest support. These people love their products and customers. It shows. In light of recent security breaches on competitor products, I'm so glad I stuck with 1Password and their model of password security (non-cloud based).
Finally finger print support! Thank you thank you.... Loved the new material design. I wish you can add support for Android wear the way "SafeInCloud" did with their app.
Nexus imprint unlock not stable Gets into crash loop using fingerprint to unlock, on Nexus 6P. Still not fixed, it keeps crashing, and I have to key in the unlock password manually.
Reliable But there is no autosave on passwords... You have to manually fill details into the app, especially on chrome.
Keyboard Settings Crash If i try to open the Keyboard-settings the Settings App crashes otherwise works fine. LG G4 Android 6.0
2nd rate on Android compared with iOS Really could use more than one vault. Only thing that keeps me using 1pass is built in TOTP.
Lacking I'm a Fleksy keyboard user and of course 1password keyboard won't match its functionalities so there's no way I'm going to use 1password keyboard for good. And there's no way I can fill apps with 1password seamlessly. Unless I manually enter my username and copy my password or go back to the app every time I copy my username and password or activate 1password keyboard and after logging in activate Fleksy. Maybe it's just me
Great BUT !! Why after I've paid for an upgrade am I getting warnings that I've got 3 days left of the trial upgrade? Working hard now to move all my passwords to another password manager that doesn't take my money and give me nothing. Hopefully this is not just scamming people.
Opvault not working... Want to sync it with my own NAS using opvault. As it is not working, the app currently is useless for me...
Now it's just awesome After upgrading to Marshmallow, the first thing I did was to enable fingerprint unlock on 1Password... And damn, it works so well with the new Material design... Well done!
Mobile app Needs to detect and save app names or app package names so that it knows what password I need to pull on apps. I hate having to look through the list every time I need to load a pass in an app
5 stars with the latest update - material design and fingerprint unlock.
Needs to support Serpent 256 Serpent 256 is more secure than AES. I would like to see it support the more secure encryption method. If it did I would give it 5 stars.
best app ever, devs at agile are awesome
Search from any screen The app is very good. It's a pitty you can't just search wherever you are in the app. Might as well also mention I'd like to be able to choose where I am when opening the app: Favorites or any other category. The fact that they listen to users is a great plus :-)
Peace of mind, ease of use
1password is the Cadillac of all password manager apps I have been using 1password for years. I use all the different flavors of the app on all my devices, computers, etc. It's the best password manager suite out there. All the versions are constantly updated, and upgrade versions have always been free. I don't see that changing anytime soon, but if it did I wouldn't mind paying again as I wouldn't blame them for needing to charge again. I'm a software engineer by trade so I know a good app, app developer, software development life cycle, etc when I see them.
Updated review I like the app a lot. My only hangup is not being able to use the finger print reader on my s6. Hence the four stars instead of five. I had originally given it only one star, but because of the feedback and explanation from the developer, I decided it was worth four stars.
Camera access Why do you need permission to use the camera?
The Android version does not fully support all functionality of 1password. When using the latest, safer OPVault storage backend, one cannot sync to Android devices. It seems the developer does not even prioritize this issue; very strange to omit core functionality from a "supported" class of devices.
Great App BUT... They keep trying to squeeze you for more money with updates. Even though I paid for the app a few versions back, updating cripples it to view only. Bullshit that they want customers to pay repeatedly for incremental updates.
Ok Thanks for the feedback... Another Query Pls, Any time I use the App's keypad to input my login details on an external platform I find it hard to get it off my screen, I will have to close and reopen the said platform before it goes away..
Pleased to see the pace of development picking up for Android which I hope will continue. 5 stars once there's multiple vault support and Android Wear integration.
I use 1Password on my Mac and iPad and I love it - I was thrilled to see it come to Android, as well (especially the last update that brought it up to parity). The only thing I'd love is the ability to use multiple vaults, like on desktop, and maybe built in Google Drive integration. :)
now able to us opvault after waiting quite some time. thanks 1password team for getting Android up to speed!
Need work. I started using this app on iOS and I loved it. Coming to Android was a hard transition for this app and I am waiting for it to live up to its potential. It is getting there, but still as a long way to go.
Great password manager Got this for my computer and finally got around to getting for my phone after they updated to allow Dropbox.
Finally OP vault support!! I've been waiting for this for a long time. Great job Agilebits
Recent update vastly improves performance on Android Marshmallow. I still can't get Dropbox sync to work between 2 macs (desktop & laptop), an iPad and a Nexus phone but at least syncing to Android via wifi will work now. I'm also not entirely sure how I feel about everything being local (thus requiring your own sync setup), but it's tolerable until something better comes along at a better price-point. Glad they listened to my other feedback (previous 1 star). There was pretty much no way to sync prior to this update, which was a shame because 1Password works very well on Apple products for the most part.
Fingerprint issues Every day or two fingerprint stops working and i have to reset my Nexus 6p and re-enable fingerprint for it to work again. Besides that, super app, and the last update with Dropbox sync is great.
Finally material design, fingerprint support and opvault! Could be easier to autofill.
Finally opvault support! Now that I can actually use the app on my Android it's an easy 5 stars. Thank you for adding this much requested feature.
Great! Can I sync my vault between Android and iOS devices?
Still no. opvault support, although it's what they recommend to switched to?! Lacks a lot of features too.
Finally has OPVault support! In version 6.3 it added OPVault support so I can now finally use it with Dropbox sync in the recommended format. Works great.
All great but buggy keyboard is annoying. Sometimes it just won't hide or go away even after switching app..
Its amazing but they should have android wear support
It always resets fingerprint scanner On samsung galaxy s7 edge it always turns off fingerprint scanner. It says fingerprints are unavailable or something alike and always make you enter master password. Should be fixed. As it is a crucial part issue related to security - for now 1 star. It is a core functionality. No excuses here. I bought this app. But not satisfied, really.
Part 2 Sorry hit send too quickly.. Agilebits.... Can you please upgrade your keyboard. It is so primitive and un-ergonomic compared to say SwiftKey.
The fingerprint unlock feature is glitching a bit. The setting is on, but it keeps turning off and defaulting to the password unlock. I then have to turn fingerprint back on and it lasts maybe a few unlocks before turning off again. Edit- Thanks for the reply! I expected that it was something to do with my hardware (GS7 Edge) or a recent update. I am not at all surprised that you guys are hard at work fixing this.
Best password management software Hi i have one suggestion the current version has loads of features which are useful, if you also provide feature to attach the image to a password record it will be wonderful. Like i have a new software license instead typing each and every details i can just capture the image from my mobile camera and link to software licencd category as new record ... Regards Amit
Looks like there is now more sync over Dropbox.
Plz just one feature They fixed the sync bug and I'm loving it, I uninstalled lastpass for this. Works great now after update. but whats annoying is that I have to enter my very long master password all the time, even with a passcode enabled. Please make it always enter a passcode, the master password is so annoying to enter. Otherwise, awesome app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sync With Google Drive Hopefully your team add Google drive support for sync
can't get the shared password from iPhone user
Works after recent update with opvault support, works seamlessly now. great app and good support.
I cannot open the new opvault format after manually transferring them.
I love 1Password Great product and amazing support
Great app I use it every day I couldn't life with out it and fingerprint support only makes it better
Solid app with great ability to generate complex passwords. Using both desktop and cell version. Ability to sync logins is a great feature.
Now works with OpVault format.
1password Very convenient and reliable
Finally a normal nice looking and usable android app, congrats !
Excellent App Perfectly Syncs with desktop and very secure
Automatically filling and keyboard filling not working.
Support forum claims it supports OPVault but it still created an agilekeychain when I sync to dropbox. I assume that's the reason it also won't let me export my keys. Wifi sync may work, but once you setup dropbox I can't find a way to change the type of sync you want. Once dropbox always dropbox. Finally they hide how much the pro licence is going to cost you until you have installed it and go through the effort of trying to setup things.
It would be awesome to have (keyboard) 1. Dark keyboard theme (like Google Keyboard) 2. German keyboard layout It would be awesome to have (app) 1. An option to launch a website in default web browser instead of that in-app weird browser-like thing.
Slightly confusing onboarding but great support Took some tinkering to understand the app and what buttons to press. But the support is great and should really be mentioned!
Great app Fingerprint unlock Galaxy S5? I really like this app. I use this on my android devices and before then my iDevices. The only feature that I would find very helpful at this point is a password checker. It would be nice if there were coloured lights at the end of the entered pw, or some indication of the strength (at least somewhere).
Great Password management App. Great looking UI, easy to use and great encryption.
Loved this app on my iPhone, like it on the Android phone. The ability to select what screen to start on seemed to be there but either I lost it or it is gone so I have to select a few things before I finally get to my vault. Dopey. Went through a period where my fingerprint would not open the app up and had to key my primary password in all the time. Love the ability to do back-ups to Dropbox, very nice. I don't mind paying for an apps at all, especially good ones. This one, now that the trial period is over, which I did not realize was going to happen, is lacking transparency on pricing. Don't tell me to go to the site I did and the pricing is not what is being asked for on my phone. $5/mo or $65 for what I assume is a year. I get $9.99 on my phone as an option. What is that for? A year? Forever? It needs to be clear since the product seems to be disconnected from the site's options/version.
An outstanding password manager marred by being trialware. I've already paid for this client on my desktop computer, asking me to pay again on Android, JUST to add a new login to my database, when I was NEVER forced to ever pay for the iOS version for the same functionality? That is disingenuous. Agilebits did not heed Seinfeld's warning about double-dippers. EDIT - Agilebits' response acknowledges this, and I would count on the iOS version being the same as the Android version soon. They're doubling down on double-dipping. Shame. Shame. Shame. *rings bell*
A disappointment. On ios/mac the 1password devs are cutting edge, utilizing the latest features, and inovating. Unfortunately their devs are simply not equipped to support windows/android. On android, no multi vault support, gliched constant loading circle, huge UI elements that don't make sense, no sensible autofill. I thought this was bearable until I tried lastpass, ohh man did lastpass push ahead of the crowd. I simply can't justify staying on 1pass's platform any longer. Only wish I didn't spend >150$ on 1pass softw
Finger Print login not working Have Note5 with MM. Enabled Finger Print and worked first time and failing after that and prompted for Master password. Also, I don't see an option to modify sync settings.
Missing features On iOS i can add "all items" to the favorites tab on android i cant and it takes longer to do what i need. If this feature returns i would give it 5 stars
1password Love this app I bought the desktop version and it's really worth it. I feel more secure now than when I had a word document with all my passwords.
Use for all device with sama license What simply by buying in this android. But it can be used also in the mac and desktop? With the same license
No one drive/Google drive support I'm sorry but Google drive support is a minimum requirement on an Android device. Onedrive would be a good to have feature.
Plz add some features When I open any app , I can't get options to save my username & password in 1password , is there any way for it ?
Could use the old folders functionality for 1Password families but otherwise excellent.
Fix the Fingerprint Issue on Samsung S7 Edge Fingerprint security is useless with Samsung S7 Edge. It keeps failing and you have to constantly type your password which is quite time consuming. It's been a long time bug which should be fixed by now. Another sign that this company doesn't like Android as much as iOS (i.e., no Scannable app).
Yay ? Love it... syncs well and remains very useful. Highly recommend the investment. Thank you Devs ?
Feeling the love Thrilled that their Android app is now a first class citizen. Top notch product.
No 1password extension for browsers I've been using 1password in my iOS devices and I love that I can login using the safari extension of 1password. Unfortunately there is no equivalent functionality on android. You either have to use the built-in browser, copy the password to the clipboard or use their 1password-provided keyboard, which I won't use because I love SwiftKey. While you can long-press the space bar to switch keyboard, you cannot go back to 1password keyboard without going back through the settings.
WiFi sync not working I am unable to get the wifi sync to work with my galaxy note 5 to Pc. It continually says that the server on the pc is not running when I clearly have it open and running.
It's a very useful app and it goes well together with my mac desktop version of the app. But from time to time the wifi-sync feature stops working on Android and there is no way to set it up again once it has been done. I have to clear the cache and do it from scratch. Would be nice if you fix this problem. Thank you!
Problem fixed! I was having fingerprint issues with an older version but it hasn't happened anymore so I changed my review! It's great!
Can't log in... Where is the qr code reader in the app ? How can I do the WiFi sync from my computer ? This is quite retarded and very surprising coming from you guys :-) EDIT: okay, I realized I had to create a dummy vault first. Not great UX still. Will put it back up to 5 once you guys acknowledged feedback.
Before I used Dashlane and bought 1Password thinking that I buy it once and use it for a long time. So my experience using Mac with iOS and Android includes: - Constantly unable to use WiFi sync, because devices doesn't see Mac - Apps on devices are veeery slow when it is > 100 passwords stored - Crashes on Android - Oh, I need to buy Pro version on Android on top of Desktop version. I say enough is enough.
Update: Dropbox now works between Android and Apple Products. Still an overly technical solution to localized data for most folks so I'm not changing my rating, which I feel is fair. They have a hosted service now, but at $60 a year (for in this case only one person) I'm not sure it's worth it compared to the localized version. There were initial problems with sync on Android Marshmallow (in 2015) that updates improved and as a Nexus user when Nougat comes out shortly there is more potential for problems but such is the plight of Android.
my license key is not received.....and sometimes fingerprint unlock disabled automatically.
Won't sync to my computer. Answer to update from developer... without a Dropbox option or at least a sync to other device option then I do not feel that your app is of use to me anymore as if my phone screwed up then I'm lost. backing up to my computer, even if you could fix it for me is an inadequate fix as like so many others I rarely use a computer any more.
Great app....but... I wish there was a easier to fill in logins. On my Note 4 it won't let me use finger print login. I hate having to type in my master pass everytime.
Like the app but... Fingerprint setting keeps getting reverted, requiring me to manually enter password.
I wouldn't want to go without this app anymore!
Fingerprint unlock Whenever I unlock via fingerprint, it doesn't vibrate.
Give me multiple vaults That have been in the iOS version for quite some time
super many passwords need one rule
Great app only synchs with Dropbox 4 Star because it only synchs with Dropbox. Once other cloud storages are available it gets 5 star.
Excellent app with displays of favoritism Fantastic and very useful, however the fact that once the free trial expires you need to buy the pro version to keep adding stuff - a case not seen in its iOS counterpart makes the handling of the Android version of the app unfair.
It's good I managed to sync with dropbox, it was easy after all
Its useful I really enjoy not losing my password. This app helps that!
All About $$ Been using this until the free trial expired and can't use it anymore. Sucks that you don't have a free version.
A great password manager. The pass filling keyboard is very useful.
Anything for more money Drop box support but not google drive support. We may as well have a subscription to breath air. Why subscription based service? To scam more money out of users for a service that doesn't even support google drive which is native to android. Epic fail time to bin.
Bit over the top Seriously what is the point of the boring meaningless script every time there's an update. Also paid for this on ios and definitely not paying again. So expensive for what this gives you.
Really? Been using the free version for a while, and suddenly making it pay for, essentially holding my passwords ransom? It was NOT a trial: it was the free version. Now it's saying my 'trial' has expired. Not cool, and not the way to get my business for sure. Thanks for the work you've now made me so I can get my passwords onto something else!
Latest version (Sept 2016) lags Typing in my main password on a lagging keyboard sucks. I have to go so slow for it to work. The app worked great on my 2015 Moto X Pure until now.
Love it. ?? Clean interface?? I hope in future updates you will include box sync support as well. Support for fingerprint on devices running Android 5.1. Few issues-dont understand why you need full access to Dropbox.. Read an article from 2013 on your blog saying in future it won't be but now it's 2016!!! [Edit] Thanks for replying about Dropbox access issue and Hope to see the new features soon and rating upgraded.
Beware - this app is not really free I used this app on iphone for a year and loved it. It was free and i had over 70 passwords stored. I was pleased to find i could move my passwords over to my android phone - until today when i couldn't add a new password because my "trial" ended. There was no warning about the android version being a trial - I had expected it to be as good (and free) as the iOS version. Disappointed.
Crashes near continuously on Nexus 5x/Android 7.0 Since the 7.0 update I find myself having to force close the app after every other launch. If I try to search, the app hangs. Please update with better 7,0 support!
I enjoy this app and find it immensely helpful. Although it's super annoying to have my phone and Mac together to type in all my credentials. I bought this app and the pro version for my android phone, but do I have to buy this again to use on my Mac?
Trial? Was wery suprised to see that my trial ends in 6days. I thought the app was free. Switching to keepass, as they have also introduced fingerprint unlock :}
The worst keyboard You guys have a great app. But why is your keyboard so terrible. Please update it to include swiping gestures to type words faster (like the Google or Swype keyboard). The app is good but it should with captivate login and other logins (app login)
Doesn't work on android galaxy s5 Followed all directions. No way to get 1password keyboard to pop up. Without that, it's no better than PasswordSafe, which I can already copy/paste from.
Bought the pro version but I'm disappointed Ios version of this app is far better, can't even add custom sections on android. Please atleast add all the functionality from ios version to the android one.
Love 1password Fantastic cross platform password manager that works on all my devices. The android app is a bit clunky but it gets the job done.
Making me pay? It says my free trial ended and I now need to purchase the $9.99 pro version. My boyfriend and I installed this app at the same time yet his does not tell him he needs to do this. He still has complete full function of editing and adding in new passwords. Makes me upset because I really enjoyed this app for all my passwords.
Love this app but Keeps freezing when I open it, can't use it at all. Quitting the app doesn't seem to help. I think it's trying to sync with Dropbox but something is not working.
Terrible Investment Severely disappointed that I have now spent a total of $75 on this company and have had nothing but frustration. Any documentation they have regarding what you pay for and your account is unclear and vague, which almost seems intentional. I should have chosen one of the other password management platforms.
Keeps getting better Essential kit, excellent support. I really hope they don't double down on the subscription model :/
The WiFi sync still crashes the application on both of our Nexus 5 phones and Pixel C. The password info is now stale and not useful on the mobile. [edit after AgileBits response 160831] Just sent the following email to that support address: The pattern remains: on both Nexus 5 w/Marshmallow and Pixel C w/Nougat the first WiFi sync goes through, yet any follow-up sync crashes the application. I have sent crash reports via the offered Android facility, and the previous attempts to resolve it via 1P support took unreasonable amount of my time. I am not sure how else i can help.
Great app Only one feature short of perfect: the ability to generate passphrases. The iOS app is able to use words for password generation, so why not this one?
Not having an option to configure the auto filling keyboard layout, to Colemak, for example, makes my life really hard when I need to unlock my vault.
Trialware Used this for a long time on ios. Not pleased to see the android version is just trialware where the ios version was free with ad support.
finger print is here Now that it supports finger prints, this app is perfect.
So, I just gave you $35 to get a licence just to find out I need to pay another $10 for an Android version (and how much more for iOS?). Interesting strategy considering giants like Google seem to be coming with free versions that will likely hurt your business like hell... I'd tweak the business model asap if I were you...
Please update keyboard 1password keyboard is too small for these big screen phones. Can you please take stock keyboard and add your functionality in it.
Just 1 vault on Android Using the Pro features I cannot add a secondary vault, whereas on iOS I can. Please add this feature.
Useful. Secure. Fast. Syncs Vault with all devices quickly. Easy to use. Wish the app had the random password generator but otherwise fully happy with it.
Best Password App I've tried all of the others and this is by far the easiest and quickest one. Bonus, it's Canadian.
Best of the best It support finger print, it works on offline, smooth and fast with neat animations.. It deserve more rating
Amazing. Secure. Smart This app is so secure, dependable, well designed, and easy to use. Only password app I trust
You can't seem to log back in using other device. Had to manually enter back everything.
Still the absolute best A pleasure to use cross platform.
Ruins my day because I can't paste master password into the app
Free app ease ... When iOS version is free, you are charging a hefty price for a paid version
Awesome awesome awesome!
Working great with Android finally
Awesome Love the apps
